So when does Spencer Lee get to return to college? LOL
He isn’t a threat to get a takedown. Sure he’s in every match but it’s only cuz he’s 5 7 and guys have a hard time taking him down.Common man. He’s a freshman most likely not wrestling his ideal weight. 3 losses to Allred, Plott, and Mcenelly. Right there in every match. Seems a bit harsh
He was asking him if he was alright. No disrespect at allThat was cringy talking in Ben's ear from behind
I think his chances to AA are pretty much non existent. He isn’t a threat to get a takedown. Sure he’s in every match but it’s only cuz he’s 5 7 and guys have a hard time taking him down.
This used to be the case. Virtually no rules anymoreOne would think if you played in a professional sport, that would void your college eligibility.
And he's still younger than Nelson...I can't believe we are about to watch Steveson wrestle again. He has what, 3-4 different retirements now? College, WWE, NFL. What else?
It's nothing new.One would think if you played in a professional sport, that would void your college eligibility.
Me too. He’s a helluva lot of fun to watch. Crazy athletic for someone his size. Olympic gold medal match was incredible.Gable moves so smooth. Honestly, I'm glad he came back to wrestling. Hopefully he does Freestyle aswell. He can make good money doing this now! Why not?
Gable really took it to him but agreed, no disrespect there. Gable knows what he is and what BK could be in the future. RespectHe was asking him if he was alright. No disrespect at all
100% he was complimenting Ben and telling him he has a bright future. Or he was saying I'm better at wrestling but you're better at footballThat was cringy talking in Ben's ear from behind
Chris Weinke, Russell Wilson ... Danan Hughes. This used to be the case. Virtually no rules anymore
It was likely something supportive given there both team USA guyThat was cringy, Gable talking in Ben's ear from behind
How? To me it looked like respect and likely giving some encouragement. Nothing cringy about it.That was cringy, Gable talking in Ben's ear from behind
The heel schtick never felt authentic to me. It felt like he was playing a character.Gable absolutely destroys BK but shows him a lot of respect after the match. For sure grown as a man.
To AA he’s gonna need to win a lot of matches via tiebreakersI think his chances to AA are pretty much non existent.
He's probably looking at a seed at Nattys somewhere between 12-15.
Blood round might be his ceiling.
FWIW
"Who Hates Iowa/We Hate Iowa" is a cheer used by Minnesota fans to express their dislike for the Iowa Hawkeyes
Makes sense considering the profession he was trying to get into. Glad that’s done and he can be less of a prickThe heel schtick never felt authentic to me. It felt like he was playing a character.
Everyone here seems afraid to say anything remotely harsh about GA because his father posts on this forum from time to time.Common man. He’s a freshman most likely not wrestling his ideal weight. 3 losses to Allred, Plott, and Mcenelly. Right there in every match. Seems a bit harsh
Especially considering part of his pro career was in wrestling that he was paid for. Can a football player go NFL for a year and then return to their college to play again? One would think if you played in a professional sport, that would void your college eligibility.
His losses are to #4 McEnelly and #7 Allred. He has beaten #11 Smith, #12 Ruth and #18 Rogotzke. Starcocci and Keckeisen top 2 by far. Then Plott, McEnelly, Berge, and Foca are 3-6. He's going to have to beat someone of that caliber to AA most likely.I think his chances to AA are pretty much non existent.

I’m not afraid to say anything. I just don’t think it’s worth bringing the heat and trashing him.Everyone here seems afraid to say anything remotely harsh about GA because his father posts on this forum from time to time.
But the hype when he enrolled was real.
Hell, even at 174 next year he’s going to be undersized.
Seems like a good kid and I hope he can AA before he graduates.
At many of these upper weights, the elite guys are dropping 15-20 lbs to make weight.
He went double OT with Berge in December.Heartbreaking loss for Gabe. Just did not have a takedown in him tonight. Not that its something to brag about but isn't that the closest match for McEnelly?
For all you know he said “You’re a great wrestler. I hope you stick with the sport, you can do great things.”That was cringy, Gable talking in Ben's ear from behind
You could see he said “You all right man?”For all you know he said “You’re a great wrestler. I hope you stick with the sport, you can do great things.”
He was definitely an ass early in his career. He's matured tremendously. The heel schtick never felt authentic to me. It felt like he was playing a character.
I mean what harsh thing do you want to say? He needs to open up more and try to score? Absolutely. PapaBear knows that. The guy he wrestled tonight is a tank. And Gabe went down to the wire with him on the road. . He will be fineEveryone here seems afraid to say anything remotely harsh about GA because his father posts on this forum from time to time.
