Not only do you leave guys wide open for 3s, you can't even box out and get a rebound. If you're not going to guard anyone, at least rebound.

Typical Fran season. We think they are good and it turns out we suck again.

Hate this zone. Can't guard the wing or corner on reversal and puts our guys in terrible rebounding position. Unfortunately we just don't have the horses to go man.
7 second half points coupled with getting slaughtered on the offensive boards AGAIN!!! and this thing could get ugly fast.

Since this team is safely in the NCAA tournament, I say that, game one in the BTT, tell Wieskamp that he needs to get up 30 shots. He needs to shoot himself out of the slump for the Hawks to have any prayer of making a run in the dance. Win or lose, I don’t even care. Guy needs to get it together
We've had a good year, thanks to Garza. The injuries haven't helped, but we're still a typical Fran team....weak, non-athletic and play terrible defense.
Not this shit again. How is it on Fran? B1G win percentage on the road is abysmal. This game was a long shot to begin with. We’ve done great with what we have this year. That’s what is on Fran.
The formula for beating Iowa has been published. Push, shove, and hope it doesn’t get called. If it does get called, we shoot a ton of FTs. If it doesn’t we get run over.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa lose the Thursday game to Minnesota. Fran's teams have never done much in BTT. Maybe round of 32 NCAA win and bounced out in NCAA next game.
I don't think Iowa will come back in this game at Champaign. Just not enough scoring beyond Garza and the defense/rebounding is weak.
Can’t rebound. Fold mentally it shots don’t fall. And any effort play that is made is a foul on one end, play on at the other end.

I’m so friggin irritated. This second half looks night and day different. Touch fouls called and then blatant push on the backs no call. To boot, we can hit the broad side of a barn. Iowa needs to go back to Garza and have him post up. The quick three shot isn’t working. Get it down low hawks.
I just don't understand, they are mugging Iowa and that is ok. Hands straight up on the entry pass and the whistle blows immediately on Kriener. F#*k these refs. What is a foul on one end should be on the other end. Getting sick and tired of watching Garza, CJF and Weezy get hammered with no call......
I did not think we would see a Fran fade this year....but it is happening. When it happens just a few times in a coaches career at a school it is one thing, but it is so common with his Iowa teams that there HAS to be something to it.
