The fact that Garza did not attempt one free throw in all of that half is comical.
Solid first half offensively until the scoring drought from the field late.
D was meh, but that's about as much as I expect.
They're still right in it. Just stay keep it close and give themselves a chance to steal one at the end.

It took all of Fran's effort to not drop f-bombs on TV.
That is the most terse Ol' Doodle has ever seen Fran with a sideline reporter He usually shows his displeasure but is engaged with the reporter. This time it was like 3 word answers and looking away. If he was that way with her, can you imagine how furious he must actually be? Like Extra Super Fire Hot Franimal Furious.
On the Fran spectrum, that's almost serene.
I thought the same thing. He must be on some chill pills. In the past his face would have been Beet Red.
Fran used a timeout before the run got to 16-0. Things are lookin up fellas.
I fully expect Illinois to be bush league down the stretch trying to get Iowa to do something dumb.
