Damn! Almost. Another great pass by CMac.
Special as in that classic hawkeye "get our hopes up just to crush us" feeling?Got a special feeling about this one![]()
OSU had at least 6 buckets that way.
The OSU ball handler drives the lane, Liddell intentionally backs his ass into the ball-handler's defender, then the ball-handler has a wide-open layup. It is a text book moving screen.
Hard to compete with constant moving screens AND refs calling us for ticky-tack calls. Can live with one. Almost impossible to win with both.
Looked like we were gonna get run out of the building early, gotta love the response and the fight we're showing!
14 is fricking ridiculous. Good effort.Rebounds:
22: IOWA (14 offensive)
16: OSU (9 offensive)
It wasn't JoBo. Go back and watch it.OSU was living with this play when JBo was in. They continued it on Joe to a far lesser extent. Hopefully Fran points it out to the officials if he hasn’t already.
Correct he’s just running around doing nothing. He can’t create separation with or without the ball to get a shot off. And you are correct he can’t pass to himself. Also doesn’t have any assists or rebounds either. He's not jacking up 3s and missing. And he can't pass it to himself.
i was told Connor sucks
weird
Last few games he's been missing more than earlier in the year is what I meantHe missed

If you had told me the Hawks would have a 1-pt halftime lead after OSU ballooned their opening lead to 11, I would have laughed at you and told ya to gtfo here.Better D the last 10mins. First 10 was on pace to give up 50 before half
He isn't getting any touches. Pretty hard to do anything that way. But at least he draws the defense, wherever he goes. No help off of him.Correct he’s just running around doing nothing. I mean, you got to wonder if he wouldn’t have made a great QB. Could probably throw a football 70 yards. Why the heck doesn’t he play football. Looks like he has a cannon and would have similar mobility to Petras. Accuracy can’t be any worse either lol
They’ll come back with the same starting lineup and a quick hook for Rebraca. With two fouls on all of our guards not named Bohannon, I don’t hate itSo who starts 2nd half. Can’t go with default lineup IMO or we will dig another hole
Exactly. Way to many easy inside baskets in the first 10 minutes.Keeping the ball out of the paint was the key to the comeback there. After all the easy dunks and layups to start for OSU, they finished with only a 26-22 edge in points in the paint
You ain't lying. Definitely gonna need more of this in the 2nd half.14 is fricking ridiculous. Good effort.
He started and played what the first 10 minutes at the point but he isn’t getting touches? I think you are mistaking touches for open looks. I’ll agree with you that he isn’t getting open looks but that’s because he lacks the ability to get open.He isn't getting any touches. Pretty hard to do anything that way. Anyone for OH State driving left was getting screens. Rebraca inadvertently screened a few times himself. No one was stopping the drives when the guards got screened. The man guarding the screener needs to redirect the driver when that happens but Iowa's man (Rebraca early) kept getting caught watching/sealed. Ugh.Ulis?
If he wasn't open it was because OH State was making it a point to keep him guarded. He's one of the main reasons why Keegan has 20. OH State can't help off of him.He started and played what the first 10 minutes at the point but he isn’t getting touches? I think you are mistaking touches for open looks. Keegan averages over 23 a game. Your gonna tell me that’s because of jbo lol get outa here buddyIf he wasn't open it was because OH State was making it a point to keep him guarded. He's one of the main reasons why Keegan has 20. OH State can't help off of him.
