Maryland looks terrible but they do play physical ball pressure and Iowa has a lot of tall, lanky guys that aren't so good against ball pressure. We should be up 15 if we could get Payton more 3pt looks...he's hot....Pmac has a 3 and Pryce has a 3, but Dix and Perkins have been really bad.
We have a bunch of Quad 1 games coming up....this team is just not good enough to get it done vs good teams. I don't think they will do very well vs the upcoming schedule, but I supposed they could get hot. So far vs Maryland, this is not good enough effort to win vs Quad1 teams.

I doubt Fran can pull in a good guard from the portal and Perkins likely gone....what will we do next year with Dix, Harding as only guards? Seems like the ball hits Iowa players hands and they don't secure it. Nobody except Freeman has any kind of agression, athleticism, strength to go get the basketball. Sandfort does put out a lot of effort, but he's a below the rim guy. Krikke and PMAC should be doing better. Post defense and rebounding is the biggest weakness on this team.
