Had to have this one. Obviously we should get a win our next game, but after that you get Purdue and Iowa State on the road. Going to be tough.

I was watching both games so might have missed a bit but did Freeman play much in the 2nd half?

WOW! Crazy stats right there! We gave up 16 offensive rebounds, and STILL had 33 defensive. Dudes were brick layers.....

We eventually pulled away and won by 13. However, if we were more interested in boxing out & rebounding, we would have had a much more comfortable win tonight.

The result of giving up 16 offensive rebounds:

Second chance points:
17...Seton Hall
2....IOWA

They still never got closer than 5. Hard to play a perfect game

Best game Iowa has played so far this season. I think some of our young guys like Price and the guard from Moline need fewer minutes when the BIG starts. Everybody else played very well today against Seton Hall.

And PMac showing that if there is any bit of a contest for a rebound, he ain't getting it.
Damn! Krikke played 32 minutes tonight and only got 1 rebound (Patrick got six). We had better think about benching him as he is obviously not trying hard enough to rebound! I've got an idea. Patrick is in his last year. Why don't we put the venom on hold? I'm sure he is sorry to have disappointed you, but given all he's been through, I bet he'll get over it.

Interesting that Dix was in for most of the second half instead of Bowen

Dix is the better player. Yout get more size on switching and a better outside shot and better rebounding.

Harding looked good vs cupcakes but he really struggled today vs big guards. Bowen takes care of the ball
but he's a lot more like Aaron Ulis than I had hoped.
