Here are the Big Ten's all-time free throw shooters. Jok 92.2% this year (142 of 154), 88.4% career.

Needs to go 45-45 (exactly to get to 343-382) the rest of the way to set the career record.

Edit - was rounding to nearest 0.1%; this would give him the record on fewest attempts.

If the boys make a deep run in the BTT and then the NIT and Peter stays hot he might get that national record.

This record would make every Hawk fan happy!

Thats the second Daniel Horton record I've seen discussed today. I dont remember him being all that good.

For sake of big ten season record does postseason count? Or does he just need to not miss against PSU?

Doing some quick math, here's what he needs to do the rest of the way to break the single season record:

If he shoots 6 or fewer free throws the rest of the way, he can't miss any.
If he shoots between 7 and 19 FT, he can miss 1 and still break the record.
If he shoots between 20 and 31 FT, he can miss 2 and still break the record.
If he shoots 32 FT, he'll tie the record with 3 misses, and break it with 2 or fewer misses.
If he shoots between 33 and 45 FT, he can miss 3 and still break the record.

I'm not sure if tourney games count or not.

Leistikow said on his radio show Wed night that Peter would have to go on a 12-13 pace for the remainder of the season.

Last night Jok was 3-3 so of course he needs to make his next 9 of 10. Wowza.

Can you imagine going to an empty gym right now and hitting 12 of 13?

How did a spot up 3 point shooter like Alford get to shoot 600 free throws? Must have a lot of late intentional fouls with the lead,I guess.
Sarcasm???? or you are 12. He was in non-stop motion in Bob Knight offense. Very similar on how Iowa uses Jok....hopefully you knew that

i head that Jok needs to go a 12-13 pace to break the record

Yesterday he was 5-6 so he need to make his next 7. No problem! Yikes!
