And PT available.I'd say there's a great chance with this guy.
Our starter is leaving.
A QB he's very familiar with is coming here AND we put TE's into the NFL.
I absolutely hate Mecheatagain fans.Man some of the tweeting Michgan fans are brutal
Hawks recruited him pretty hard out of high school too. So there could be a prior existing relationship with him (and his family) too.Like the HS film. Good size/speed and a very willing blocker. Iowa's offense always needs 2-3 legit TE that are ready to play now.
Strongly and respectfully disagree. I see a stud in Lachey. NFL guyI'd really like to add him. Lachey is a good TE but he doesn't have the big play ability that LaPorta did imo.

Appears he is Cade's roommate?
I don't understand the rules these days ... I would have thought that the '22 season would have counted towards a redshirt season for him (since he only played in 3 games). Obviously, the '20 season doesn't count toward eligibility. Thus, I'd infer that he has AT LEAST 2 year of eligibility remaining. However, you're right ... I have no idea how the NCAA would interpret things as it relates to his injury-yearLooks like he redshirted in 2019, played in 2020 and 2021, and got injured in game 3 in 2022. So he probably has 3 years of eligibility left (normal 4th year, Covid-19 year, and medical redshirt for 2022).
LaPorta isn't quite as athletic as Fant, but he definitely is more in that flex TE mold than an inline TE. Lachey is an inline TE all the way, and he's going to be fantastic.I'd really like to add him. Lachey is a good TE but he doesn't have the big play ability that LaPorta did imo.
Lachey has a way higher ceiling than LaPorta.I'd really like to add him. Lachey is a good TE but he doesn't have the big play ability that LaPorta did imo.
We still have Stilianos. I don't know how he's been developing in our system. Hopefully improving. This is worth monitoring, not sure what type of injury/health condition he went through, however he did have a LaPorta type season last year. Edit: looks like he had back surgery.
Lachey and Ostrenga a clear #1 and #2, not sure what's behind them, sign him up!
For reals?Appears he is Cade's roommate?
Yup, Lachey is gonna be really good.Strongly and respectfully disagree. I see a stud in Lachey. NFL guy
Not sexy enoughYes. Please.
This would be huge. A healthy All would be Fant/Hock part 2.
My wet dream for Iowa’s offense is to go exclusively out of 2-3 TE sets. Split ‘em wide, line ‘em up, it presents so many matchup nightmares.
Agree but I guess they have to find a place before all the good spots are gone.Intersting that these UM guys not wanting to stick around to be a part of the playoffs.
Guess it' former now...."All's former roommate at Michigan, quarterback Cade McNamara, transferred last week to Iowa."

Probably doesnt do them too many favors to be stirring the pot while looking somewhere to land.Well at least for this kid, sounds like something happened.
His dad said something like "you don't want to know the truth" or something to fans on twitter.
Couldn't agree with you more. That's a direct shot at a Coach IMO. By their stud TE last year. I'm guessing he's a Hawk.Wow, get your popcorn ready
