A lot of short throws way too hard and a lot of defensive drops also. Petras hasn't been great but the amount of Petras sucks chants are far more than deserved. Give Padilla another chance...I'd have no problem if they started Padilla in the 2nd half...but hold him to the same standard.

142 yards on 2 plays. 108 yards on the rest. We had 175 but the sack took some away. Could easily be 14-10. I don’t think Petras has played all that badly. I would certainly do more bootlegs or short passes. Possibly screen passes. The one jet sweep would have gained some but he missed the cut back.
Mobility may be a concern, but thats never stopped us before!

I sure hope so. I was talking Petras up big time when he was recruited. After all, he broke all, or most of, Jared Goff's records at the same high school. 50 TD's to 1 Int his senior year. I thought for sure he was gonna be the answer. It's been a disappointment so far.
been looking for a screen the whole half but maybe they play zone and not a good look, but the boots should be run until michigan adusts . good yardage on every one of them.
