MSU is bad

MSU's next 5;

1/31 - @ OSU
2/2 - @ IOWA
2/? - vs NEB (this is a 'gimme' W for anybody)
2/? - vs PSU
2/13 - vs IOWA

Spartan fans should be thrilled with a 2-3 record in that stretch, but expecting 1-4 (at best).

Sparty really does look like refried garbage tonight. Maybe this year they just don't have it.

I’m sure if we ever play MSU they’ll have an obscure player who averages 2.5 points per game who’ll have a career high of 20 plus.

An obscure player could put up 35, but if the Hawks are locked in, it shouldn't change the outcome.

Izzo pulled his best Lickliter impression tonight... 37 points in 40 minutes. Less than 1ppm. Talk about efficiency!

My heart bleeds for you, Tommy Boy.... Not.

Lavin is right. There is a huge point guard vacuum after Winston left. Maryland is right there with them with no point guard. We may have three point guards at Iowa that are better than Sparty have on their roster.

Well I'm sitting at home yelling GEOOOOO BAAAKKKERRR along with the RAC announcer..and I'm thrilled to pieces. Looks like maybe RU MBB has figured out their problem.

If they could re-find said problem for just one game, on 2/10, that'd be swell.

;)

This is gonna be a crazy Big Dance this year, just in terms of who's going to be playing and who's not going to be playing.

We're looking at a possible Tournament with no MSU, no Duke, no Kentucky. And Kansas is playing for a 7, or lower, seed lately.

Nuts, but loving it.

I highly doubt they will look that inept, or play that poorly, for any stretch of time. Aren't they coming off of a long layoff from COVID? Once they get to play a few games and start to find their groove they will most likely be pretty tough.

What grade is little Izzo in, will his dad stick around until he graduates...it's got to very humiliating for coach Tom Izzo after being at the top for so long. I did notice his demeaner on the sidelines in tonight's game, very subdued and not ragging on the referees all game long, he knows the score....

Who love to put SCOREBOARD on Ozzo twice this season during the regular season and then again in the BTT.

Don't worry MSU will somehow find themselves for our annual 30 point loss at the Breslin Center.

Man wish I had seen that game to hear Lavin’s hot takes. That guy is gold.

Is it just coincidence that Kansas, Mich St, Duke, Kentucky, N Car, all have bad seasons this year. Is it Covid, Coincidence, or a reaction from the FBI investigation a while back?

I haven't watched MSU play this year - was that they're whole team? I mean, do they 3 or 4 guys hurt?

Ugly.

A young team has a bad game and the experts on here are quick to acclaim mediocrity as a whole. I remember reading how bad Purdue and Northwestern were in football and Minnesota and Indiana were in basketball. How did those 4 games play out?

You are what your record says you are.

Meh, after losing like this, they'll absolutely be allowed to body bump and hand-check and hip-ride against Iowa so they can be more competitive, which they will anyway because they'll be allowed by our defense to be comfortable enough to make 18 of 34 threes while we struggle to score 70 for no real reason outside of the previously mentioned fact that Izzo's defense will be allowed to get away with their usual bullsh** against Iowa..............

Looking forward to it! :)
