***NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS SESSION IV***

So coming into the tournament we were projected 70 points without bonus. We currently sit at 65 right now with Parco only scoring 1 of those. So while we could still "underperform", in reality this has been a great coaching performance being put behind that unpredictable eight ball. Getting a champ or two would really solidify it though! Kudos to OSU and Nebraska for bringing it as well, has made this tournament much more fun and balanced than last year. If PSU, Iowa, and OSU continue to divide top recruits and then tOSU, Nebraska, Michigan, etc put together a solid top to bottom squad on occassion, the NCAA tournament could be a lot of fun again. Teams racing for 120 points is a lot more entertaining than tournaments decided after 3 sessions (even when that team was Iowa, the 2009 title was more fun to win for instance).
According to trackwrestling we have 73.5 points

Great semi-final round! Couldn't be happier with the fight from our guys tonight. PK broke through a barrier tonight (with one eye no less), BK has looked rock solid but ran into an immovable object in his last match.

Our 3 semi-finalists all wrestled outstanding matches. All weekend long it looked like we had very solid game plans, and outside of a few uncontrollable situations, our guys executed. I was a little less enthusiastic Thursday, especially with the Parco injury, but we really stepped up today!

Here's to one more great day tomorrow!

I like this McEnelly from Minny. He is going to be a good one forsure.
Max is going to be tough to beat..
Minnesota having Kemerer on staff was a great move...I think its time to shake things up maybe move on from Telford get some new blood for the upper weights

Never understood how Telford has been here so long. If they ever got rid of him it would be interesting to see who they got. Could really help the remaining brands tenure.

AJ was very professional. He 100% is setting himself up at Iowa next season. He’s grown tremendously as a man. Do not be surprised if he’s our captain next year.
I do not know how much he has grown, but he sure seems to be trying to grow and change. I also have to say that he gives one heck of an interview. Not much of a filter on him.

Will give AJF some credit here…very level headed response on the loss, no theatrics, no drama, just shook hands and took it on the chin. That is growth, whether he’s at Iowa next year or not, I hope he continues growing as a person.
Meh. Just give Buch credit and move on. I'm still 2-1? Those wins are ancient history and no one cares.

Not bad, maybe another pts record for
Us, hope
We disappoint like this next year as it was being labeled yesterday , go drop off a bag at Mr Fast Twitches house lmfao, I see that’s the plan , you may want to
Try developing your own guys at some point , just an idea

Ayala went from 1-2 to finalist to finalist
Caliendo came in with a 7th place finish got to 4th place and is now a finalist
PK went from 2-2 to 3-2 to 4th
Buchanan came in with an 8th, 3rd, 3rd and beat a guy he was 0-2 against to become a finalist.

Definitely some downfalls with Teemer and to a lesser extent Parco (freak mid match blown knee is hard to blame on coaches).

I find it
quite comical when you dipshits come over and talk about
dropping bags…like your team wasn’t well ahead of the curve
on that! Let’s see who you pay this offseason just to not come wrestle for Iowa.
