Ahh... sports. I was ready give up on season after epic choke and now I'm still on bandwagon.
Our defense fought, but both Sandforts are so weak on that end. Payton especially got abused. But Fran needs to have double teams come at those one on one situations. That"s how jNW held Freeman down in 2nd half.

They have some guys with skills but lacking muscle/junkyard dog mentality. Barnhizer and Martineli are toughner than our guys Dix, Sandforts. I suppose getting Traore back will help.
I did not see them winning. Iowa making a walk off 3pt shots is maybe a once a season event. JBO had 2 or 3 in his career. Nice one for Dix...fadeaway 28ft nothing but net.

Well the shot that Pryce was going to have to take probably wasn't going in. Dix shot maybe even less probable but I guess we are in golden age of Hawkeye luck with that win vs Nebraska and now this.
He's upped his game, but this was jNW.... kept us in it at the end, but needs to clean up TO's.

As tacky as partially rushing the court against NW at home, it actually was good to see the students charged up there

Fran needs to have the wings double team on those one on one drives. Good offense will beat good defense 1/1 almost 90%. That's how jNW got back into the game, double teaming us in paint.
