It was actually a CJ-5 and I was about 140lbs holding a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hills.

Yes and no. Easier to work on and maintain, but not as off-road capable as the coil spring suspension of the TJ-JL models. The shorter wheelbase would be a plus, but those leaf springs really hamper articulation.

...emotionally, ya. I'd love to have that old CJ back with it's AMC 304 v8.
