I don't see that. I'm not sure we've even spoken to Burkle since last year. And even then, I think he's destined for OT.

I can’t really say. I’d hope for the staff to really be pushing hard for Nickel, but McIntosh seems like an intriguing prospect.
Nickel reminds me of Jake Duzey. Duzey was a very good TE, he just dealt with too many injuries over his career. McIntosh reminds me of Fant. He has great speed and he’s one hell of an athlete. But he’s not a great blocker, so that is what makes me question if I’d take him over Nickel.
OSU just got a commitment from Kye Stokes, a 2022 recruit from Florida. Rivals has him listed as an athlete but he is projected to play safety at OSU . His Rivals ranking is only 5.6. Apparently his recruitment has blown up in recent weeks with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Notre Dame, among others. I don't know how many safeties we plan on taking in the '22 class and what impact this has on Nwankpa's decision.
Gotta think that Nwankpa is a take no matter what for anyone.

I don't think so. Seems like Riley-Drucker and McIntosh are their two guys right now.
I think they’re still in contact with him, but I’m not 100% on that.
I think to stay in it with Nwankpa, they need to get him in on the visit on June 25th. Get him around all the other recruits and some commits and form a bond with those guys.
According to some our (OSU) recruiting sites, OSU will take 2 and possibly 3 safeties in the '22 class. Personally, I don't see 3 unless the 2 remaining spots are filled by Nwankpa and Zion Branch. Both will be tough recruiting battles to win. One more safety seems more logical.
FYI, Jameson Williams. a starting WR last year, entered the transfer portal last week. He announced today he is transferring to Alabama. I predict if we meet Bama in the CFB playoffs next year he will torch us for 2 TDs. The probable reason he transferred is the move of Garrett Wilson from slot receiver to wide-out this coming season, resulting in possibly less playing time for Williams. Oh well, get use to these kids coming and going now with immediate eligibility for first time transfers.

HIC is great at insight so would want his thoughts. I have said from day 1 when it comes to SEP, X out of state and Proctor to Iowa. But I don’t have SEP coaches on speed dial who apparently give me total misinformation. Still laughing a little about X and now Clones saying he loves MC, hates KF, so he cut the Clones early to save MC’s time but wants to hurt KF which is why he cut ISU but not Iowa. That is a new one. Unreal.

The worst one is the Proctor stuff. They said that Proctor likes ISU more than Iowa. They still say he is more likely to go to ISU than Iowa.

I would agree why I don’t post there. But in almost 20 years have never seen that excuse on any board ever. So a CF “insider” said either out of State or ISU if he stays in state after “talking to SEP coaches” but when X cuts ISU (not even top 7) it is because he wants to go out of state but loves MC and hates KF so he cut ISU now to save MC time and punish KF by stringing him along. Never heard that excuse. before. Especialy when you said SEP coaches told you like a week ago X was guaranteed ISU was top 3. Won’t go down the liar route but that is so bad to even say you talked to coaches and that was the result. I am sure SEP coaches are thrilled.
Getting played is responding to rumors and trolls and not knowing it. Saying you actually talked to a HS coach about a 17 year old but lied is just sick and way the f out of bounds. And his excuse is even worse. I’ll play along (dude I get the game) on crap like Purdy being the best ever or MC is better than Saban. Whatever. But 100 percent lying about kids is a different beast. They say that because they figure he's bound for a blue blood. That way they won't be proved wrong. they try to find all kinds of recruiting wins even when they're not there.

You are throwing 3-4 people on a crazy message board into "ISU fans". Why do you care what they think at all? They live on a message board with 3-4 insane Iowa fans for hours every day arguing about the same thing. The fact that you care concerns me.

Will be interesting if I see Twins Saturday (I couldn’t pick him out from Adam) as have a large joint grad party which my ex and I are in with a bunch of other families in Ankeny from both high schools. I know his bosses will be there and since he is so connected assuming he will be there at some point!
