Great day for a visit! Warmer here than back home I guess. Hes getting some big offers and I would not be surprised to see him chase glory with the upper echelon. I think Iowa has his less heralded teammate more firmly under pursuit.
Plus his family is very close with the Woods. So close that he called him like an a uncle.
Saw on Twitter this visit will happen tomorrow now, not today.
I don't see how saying Iowa is in a good spot is some shocking news. I mean he has Iowa on his list and is close with Woods and grew up watching them. Seems like a given. Being in a good spot just means you have a decent chance. It doesn't mean the are going to land him.
I’ll have to talk to my buddy at some point again today, but I think he said something along the lines of Iowa being back in the running and sitting well with MRD.
No kidding. Micah got his offer he said it was his dream offer. He became disenfranchised for a bit with the racial claims but is back on board. Some national media guy shared his top 8 from a couple months ago and Micah made it a point to make sure it was known that Iowa was still in the running.
2021 class is the highest ranked since the 2005 class.
Would have loved that RB from Florida. But we have a crazy good class especially OL and WR.
Same here, I'd love to have Parks but I have good vibes with Hilson. I bet he works his butt off and puts on about 20 lbs of muscle.
One part that gets overlooked about the '21 class is the dline guys. Llewellyn, Bowie, Pittman, Liddle and probably Sullivan. Good athletes in that bunch.
Agree. Obviously a high-character kid who's very athletic and is going to work his tail off. Was really glad to round out this class with him.
Given how cold it is currently in Nebraska (I'm dealing with rolling blackouts here in Lincoln) ... I doubt that weather would scare off Micah.
Gut feeling. I feel like he’s the surprise pick up this class, similar to Davidkov.
Nothing. They just have higher rated guys on their board right now. They're pushing to flip Pugh, the Cincy commit, now too.
I like the surprise picks. Deontae Craig was probably that guy the class before.
We need db's in this class. Good chance we get Stokes, Vanderoos and we need to offer Galvan and probably Porter.
We need rb's but first we need a coach. Hopefully we get a guy that can recruit the south and we get more offers out.
We need te's and we set in good shape with MRD. Love the potential if you look at film the kid loves to block, he's a total package. But we need two and I don't think we get Raridon and Helms. Does that put Burkle in play?
Give me a dline class of Carter( this kid is very good) Deyo, Graves and Crawford and call it good. D Orange is a longshot but I can dream can't I? If Iowa can pull this off then we are stacking some very good talent here.
Any ol class with Hinzman in it is good. I think we were in decent shape there until Polasek left. We offer K. Krogh and that will be an instate battle with ISU as I think they will offer also. Herzog will be a tough get now but we still have a punchers chance. The coaches want to see Buddenhagen in camp before they offer is my guess.
Both Williams and Vandeross were recruited by Foster. Might be more difficult now to get those guys.
It is what kids do these days. I picked up my granddaughter at middle school Monday (I think it was -3 at the time) and there were boys leaving school wearing shorts.
I'd like to believe that he took his coat off for the photo to proudly show off & not cover up the Iowa merch he is wearing.
I think he's a db of course who knows, good athletes like this could transition.

Iowa is recruiting him at CB, which is a much bigger need for 2022.
I put in a new Future Cast for Iowa earlier this morning in case anyone missed it.
That makes sense. This class probably needs around 3-4 corners.
Raridon popping up on 247 as a ND lean. I wonder if recent leanings of Riley is changing his mind.
