Is he a lifelong Husker fan? Will be interesting. Sometimes guys can see past their fandom and make the smart choice for their NFL hopes, sometimes they can't. See Fidone. Great that this guy is visiting IC, hope we land him.
Grew up a Hawkeye fan.

He’s an Iowa fan actually. Is he a lifelong Husker fan? Will be interesting. Sometimes guys can see past their fandom and make the smart choice for their NFL hopes, sometimes they can't. See Fidone. Great that this guy is visiting IC, hope we land him.
Plus his family is very close with the Woods. So close that he called him like an a uncle. He’s an Iowa fan actually.
I don’t really think they do either.Nebby has no chance here.

I’ll have to talk to my buddy at some point again today, but I think he said something along the lines of Iowa being back in the running and sitting well with MRD.I don't see how saying Iowa is in a good spot is some shocking news. I mean he has Iowa on his list and is close with Woods and grew up watching them. Seems like a given. Being in a good spot just means you have a decent chance. It doesn't mean the are going to land him.
No kidding. Micah got his offer he said it was his dream offer. He became disenfranchised for a bit with the racial claims but is back on board. Some national media guy shared his top 8 from a couple months ago and Micah made it a point to make sure it was known that Iowa was still in the running.I don't see how saying Iowa is in a good spot is some shocking news. Best since 05. Unreal oline.Love this class, KF's best in what, 15 years? Pretty unreal.

Would have loved that RB from Florida. But we have a crazy good class especially OL and WR.2021 class is the highest ranked since the 2005 class.

Same here, I'd love to have Parks but I have good vibes with Hilson. I bet he works his butt off and puts on about 20 lbs of muscle.
One part that gets overlooked about the '21 class is the dline guys. Llewellyn, Bowie, Pittman, Liddle and probably Sullivan. Good athletes in that bunch.
Pfftt, it’s swimsuit weather bro.How is he not wearing a coat?
Gut feeling. I feel like he’s the surprise pick up this class, similar to Davidkov.Tracy is probably not a take right now the way it sounds.
Where are you getting the Jarel Williams feeling from? Have literally heard zero out of him with any relation with Iowa since the offer
What’s the word on Tracy?Tracy is probably not a take right now the way it sounds.

Where things currently stand with out of state recruits
Drew Allar: I think the ship has sailed for us on this one. He’s blown up and gotten some big offers as of late. I can’t tell where he’ll land, but it’s very unlikely it’s in IC.
Jarel Williams: I like where Iowa sits currently with him. It’s going to be a tough fight, but I wouldn’t bet against Iowa here.
Micah Riley-Ducker: It didn’t look too promising a couple months ago, but now Iowa is back in the race, and in a great spot. There is still some work to be done, but you have to admire how the staff was able to get him interested again.
Kayden Helms: Teammate of MRD, and another prospect Iowa has a shot at. As of right now, I would say Nebby is the favorite for him, but hopefully Keagan Johnson can help pull MRD and Helms over to the good guys.
Nick Herzog: This is a tough one for me to tell on. He recently got a Stanford offer, and it sounds like that really has his attention. K-State is also involved, and that is likely the current favorite. This one needs to develop further for me to be able to tell what’s happening.
Caden Crawford: Iowa is in a great spot with him Crawford. It will be a tough battle with K-state, but I like our chances.
Chase Carter: Right now, he is listed as warm with Iowa and MSU. It’ll be a battle, and hopefully with how bad MSU has looked recently it will sway him to the good guys.
Tag Bonnema: It’s going to be a nail biter till the end, and I’m worried about Mich getting involved. This a guy I don’t want to get away. We need this type of player at the LB spots. I like the chances with him, but it’ll be a long tough road.
Jake Pope: Not coming to Iowa. Looks likely it’ll be an SEC team.
Christion Stokes: We recently were put in his top 7 (maybe it was top 5, I don’t clearly remember) and we are easily the best team on that list. I really like our odds with him, and I think he will be wearing the black and gold.
Junior Vandeross: we are currently the only team listed as warm on 247 for him. I really like the odds, and I think he will also be wearing the black and gold.
Javon Tracy: Brother of Tyrone, and we are his only P5 offer currently. He will be a Hawkeye.
Elic Aymanor: I like our chances with him, and Copeland is personally recruiting him. He will be very good wherever he goes, and I prefer it to be in IC.
Vandeross might be more difficult to get now with his lead recruiter gone.We need db's in this class. Good chance we get Stokes, Vanderoos and we need to offer Galvan and probably Porter.
We need rb's but first we need a coach. Hopefully we get a guy that can recruit the south and we get more offers out.
We need te's and we set in good shape with MRD. Love the potential if you look at film the kid loves to block, he's a total package. But we need two and I don't think we get Raridon and Helms. Does that put Burkle in play?
Give me a dline class of Carter( this kid is very good) Deyo, Graves and Crawford and call it good. D Orange is a longshot but I can dream can't I? If Iowa can pull this off then we are stacking some very good talent here.
Any ol class with Hinzman in it is good. I think we were in decent shape there until Polasek left. We offer K. Krogh and that will be an instate battle with ISU as I think they will offer also. Herzog will be a tough get now but we still have a punchers chance. The coaches want to see Buddenhagen in camp before they offer is my guess.
Both Williams and Vandeross were recruited by Foster. Might be more difficult now to get those guys.Where things currently stand with out of state recruits

It is what kids do these days. I picked up my granddaughter at middle school Monday (I think it was -3 at the time) and there were boys leaving school wearing shorts. How is he not wearing a coat?
Vandeross might be more difficult to get now with his lead recruiter gone.
How is he not wearing a coat?
True. But probably has had very little contact with Parker.Yes but Parker is still there.
Is Vandeross for sure a DB? No chance he moves to WR?
True. But probably has had very little contact with Parker.
Iowa is recruiting him at CB, which is a much bigger need for 2022.Is Vandeross for sure a DB? No chance he moves to WR?
That makes sense. This class probably needs around 3-4 corners.Iowa is recruiting him at CB, which is a much bigger need for 2022.
I put in a new Future Cast for Iowa earlier this morning in case anyone missed it.
