Seems as rational as thinking a divorced adulterer who raw dogged a few porn stars is the one who will save Christianity.
I mentioned that as a possible response. The bad thing for my friend is that he lives on the West Coast, the MIL lives on the East Coast, but her second husband is retiring soon, and they've already bought a house about 15 minutes away from where my friend lives. And, again, they are not a close family. My buddy's wife actually kept her mom away from the kids for several years, and only this past year did she allow them to have some short periods of contact on a visit.
Has your friend thought about the possibility of moving and not telling them where they live? That would be my move.

There's historic Dem turnout in FL too......FL will be close because it's Florida. The thing is, Biden doesn't necessarily need it, Trump does.
Her mom is correct, there is no Christian faith that supports abortion; let alone same day abortion in the ninth month. It’s disgraceful and morally abhorrent.

The scope of Christian faith goes well beyond the issue of abortion.
This point of view is simple and myopic and one of many reasons more and more people are rejecting the Christian faith.

I totally understand why you oppose abortion. I won’t judge you for that.
But what I don’t understand is why that is the one issue that you dictate which side is the “Christian” side.
As a devout Christian, I see about 95% of Christian issues falling on the Democrats side. But for some reason ppl only care about abortion (and to a lesser degree gay marriage). Why?
Biden is a devout Catholic and a good person. Trump is an atheist who has never read the Bible, cheated on numerous wives and is just a sh!tty person. The Christian vote is obvious...and it’s not Trump.
I personally do not believe Biden is a devout Catholic and a good person given his views on abortion and he and his family’s corruption by selling Americans out to China, Russia, and other foreign entities. Biden is morally bankrupt.
Trump is far from perfect but his policies are certainly more Christian than Biden’s platform - not even close.
