****official Iowa St vs Iowa game thread****

Well, the good news is I'm really not surprised at all this time. I've went into this game expecting to win every year and the first 10 times we lost it surprised me. Now I just smirk to myself and think here we go again.

We're not beating ISU today. We really haven't been able to stop their offense at all.

Plus, Sam Richardson is playing OUT of his mind

Out of his mind....really? He's playing OK but has been his normal self, threw some poor passes and some very nice ones. Not sure where you're getting out of his mind.

Honestly, we look mediocre on both sides of the ball.. Richardson being able to make plays with his feet is difference. ISU is lousy and we are about the same.

Right now Iowa State is a better football team. We are averaging 3 yards per play. That's inexcusable against a team like Iowa State.

Does Ferentz give some kind of pregame eulogy in the locker room before this game each year. Flat and uninspired against the Cyclones again.

looked like CJ had to drill it, the window wasn't big. McCarron had tough catch but possession guy is supposed to make that catch.

I've come to expect these type of performances out of KF coached teams and am pleasantly surprised when they actually play to their potential.

Same story as last year. This team does not have any playmakers. Possible INT turns into a completion. INT lost to a PI in triple coverage. No fumble recovery. Letting the punt roll. WRs can't get open. WR gets open on 3rd and short and can't make the catch/bullet pass.

The Hawks used to be physically dominant. The rest of college football caught up to Doyle.

Also calling a trick plays at the worst time

BEcause ISU is terrible, anytime they are winning they are playing out of their minds. Iowa is terrible also.
