The best Iowa team in 30 years, huh. Pretty sad state of affairs. Doubt any one of us here will be alive to see a Championship of any kind for Iowa Basketball. Not a National Championship, Not a B1G Championship, not even a B1G tournament championship. Certainly not in the next 7 years. or the next 5 after that when someone has to come in and try to rebuild the mess Fran will leave behind.
Really thought this team would turn it up a notch for the tourney... Instead... we are going down in a ball of flames...
If this is the best Fran can do - which it is - (player of year on roster + seasoned veterans) ... he has shown he is simply an average coach ...

Only one on the same level was losing to Northwestern State. Absolute embarrassment to the program.
I don't care who you are... w/e philosophy you have, this is an embarrassment. This is one of the best rosters Iowa has assembled in years and can't make the sweet 16.... **** me I am not holding out any hope for the future. This is the last time I have any expectation of Iowa basketball doing something significant.
