This is a GREAT question. And he was fouled when the defender had the advantage.

Staying in 1/3/1 last 5 min was horrible coaching. I get we needed to play zone because of lack guard match up. But at least go to 2/3.

We win this game by 10 if CJ plays second half, just for his defense alone.

Joe T with 18 points was a big bright spot. Connor had 1 3pt fg...take that away and only 4 guys scored in the game.
Lack of defense...zone is garbage for giving up offensive rebounds and 2nd shots. Gave up 89 points on road vs PSU and we gave up 100 pts to Michigan in previous road game.
Tough loss, but you guys have a very good team. Seriously.

What I do know is that Iowa had a lead for several minutes in the last 10 sooo I certainly wouldn't blame the loss on the officiating.
Saw a TON of missed free throws and some bad defense. I saw Touissant pass the ball to Garza when he had a CLEAN layup from right under the basket - Garza fouled and missed both.
Bakari/JoeT/Pemsl/Connor don't give you a lot of scoring so losing Fredrick is big. Still, offense is not the problem....getting stops is the problem.

Not sure I see the correlation between Iowa leading and not blaming the game on the officials.
I don’t necessarily blame the game on the officials, but fans would have even less of a case if Iowa was losing or getting killed the entire game
CJ played the 1st half and we were down at the 1/2. I agree losing CJ was a problem, but he was a non-factor in 1st half anyway. If we had a healthy CJ for full game, maybe a win, but still would be very close.
hawkinark does not like Iowa do not worth arguing. Iowa had their chances. Penn St got the typical Big Ten home reffing in the stretch run it’s how it goes.
I am more of a ledger than I want to be, but some of you guys are out of control. This was a hard fought, tough road game while losing a key piece. Breaks didn’t go our way. As long as CJF is okay all signs still pointing up.
