I like our situation at RB. Daniels and Wadley are a great combo. Then Mitchell and true freshman Toks Akinribade. We have some studs for future too.

again his redshirt really doesn't matter if he is starting next year. he's not gonna be a four year starter, cause if he is that means he's average at best. If he's decent enough he will leave for the nfl after his redshirt junior year so hes not 1 or 2 or even 3 years older than his draft class.

I have no problem burning redshirt especially if coaches think Stanley is better than Weigers. He will get many more reps this season and expect that he will get valuable leadership from CJB. I like that Ferentz has been playing true freshman more over the years.

That was the type of execution and effort that we saw for 5 years of mediocre play until last year when KFs back was against the wall.

The positives were OLine run blocking, WR blocking, RBs especially Wadley, CJ was solid and the kicking game (Colluzi especially kick offs and punts).

The defense was very bad. Absolutely zero pass rush except A Nelson. Bower is not good and Synder is very suspect and needs to learn how to wrap instead of making the fancy hit. Mabin got picked on but again no pass rush either. Hugely disappointed and we lose next week with that type of effort and execution.

I'll take it, Win #1. 24 point win, when there is still a lot to improve is a good thing, even if it was a weak opponent.

But I am hoping that Miami is a lot better than people thought.
