We went right back to becoming predictable, when our defense was having success in the second qtr, we were in a Nickel package most of the time, now we go back to a standard 4-3 cover 2 and they pick us apart. I know we aren't going to change schemes mid-season but I'm just amazed our coaches learn nothing from all this crap. We are predictable and easy to scout. We've all noticed that once the coaches open it up on both sides we have success. I don't like losing but losing the same way to teams with worse records is just not acceptable.
Thus proving that Old Kirk was better? It's better to lose a skirmish than lose the war.

Super. They finally make a call -- too obvious not to call, although with this crew, maybe not -- but it doesn't count, anyway. Wouldn't want to make a call against NW that actually penalizes them.

No. I support the University of Iowa every time I buy gear. I believe their budget decisions are appropriate based on how resources have been allocated.
The athletic department continues to be very profitable and update their facilities as you would expect with a coach at that salary.

Exactly, I do not understand this. It only shows up when they are behind. So the players can play to win cause we see it. They get ahead and somebody puts the brakes on. Which coach is responsible for putting on the brakes on offense? Ferentz or Davis?
