BRands on the post game

"We've got post season"
"Undefeated"
"Great environment, whether CHA, State College, or Stillwater, competitors like a great environment. It's just quieter when you do well on the road"
<how about Glazier, nice senior effort>
"Not sure if he's a senior. Didn't go out for senior day activies and neither did Brands or Seibrecht."

Great win, but as small as BK is against these grown ass men will he be able to get takedowns?
With his length I would like to see him use that same ankle pic that Kennedy uses and also start hitting a blast double to go with a sweep single.

I could tell my wife she’s beautiful, but she’ll never be as hot as Katie Perry, doesn’t mean I should say it though.
Completely different situation. I am not married to either. I am just being honest. You can hate AJ all you want and many are willing to take Glazier’s output when they wouldn’t at any other weight, simply because of that hate.

I am not usually that guy, but in this case there is a national champ still trying to fill in that spot next season. AJ is still the plan for next year. You can ignore it all you want, but it can and may happen.

I was simply saying I wish you could combine the best of both and get rid of what made everyone here dislike him so much.

I knew Seibrect had another year, and that Brands had the option, didn’t realize Glazier had the option of another year though.

Don't need AJ.
Too much drama.

cool. what does any of this have to do with today's dual? just a really weird time to shoehorn AJ into the conversation

Can someone please explain to me how Glazier is ranked 11th
He doesn’t really have a marquee win. His only “good” wins are Allred, Joles and now Surber. Sadly, Allred hasn’t looked anything like he was last year so it is really hard to gauge how Glazier would do against the top tier guys…

You wouldn’t be saying that if he had won. Easy being a Monday morning QB. Save that shit for your bridge club!
I have been saying he should shirt all year long. I would have said it even if he somehow won that match. He is too undersized to go 184 and it doesn’t benefit him or the team nearly enough to have him wrestle at the wrong weight class this year.

I don’t play bridge, but I do like double deck pinochle!

Edited to add: Mind you I have been as high on Gabe as ANYONE on here. I think he has the “it” factor and completely passes the eye test. A year to get acclimated and then put him at his ideal weight and you are going to see something very special next year.

why are you like this?

Part-time idiot. Like Spooner you get the good and the bad.
Maybe, admittedly, it was too harsh and not the correct moment to do it. However, the point itself is still 100% valid.

Many on here are even bigger fans of Glazier than he would normally earn if there wasn’t so much hate for AJ. Don’t get me wrong, AJ has earned every bit of that disdain. But, I am still 100% willing to bring in a national champ as long as he can successfully jump through every hoop necessary to get there.

My apologies then. :)

Because he hasn't beaten anyone of all-American level yet (maybe Allred will turn it around this year and prove to be). He really lost to AJ and was handled by Brooks when he's had the chance to face that level. Now it might be more helpful if he'd gotten to face some 5-8 level guys instead of former champions that he isn't likely to ever score a single takedown against if they wrestled ten times apiece, but just hasn't had that chance so far. March awaits, let's see if he can reach the podium against those other guys when it counts the most.

He wasn’t “handled” by Brooks. Aaron scored one takedown and it was on a deep shot by Glazier.

He could be, but he’s a total question mark. If you can recruit over Patrick Kennedy, you can recruit over Ryder Block.

Pretty sure if you don't all-American and get suspended for gambling (which might have cost him a full year too before it was reduced), you kind of took yourself out of your "spot". Someone has to fill the spot, they can't just sit around hoping you can wrestle this season.
