Not a single person saw this coming. I figured a solid showing due to the seniors and experience, maybe a middle of the B1G 6-7 seed. The real X factor has been the bench. Uhl has stepped up huge along with Baer and Wagner. Ellingson hit some huge shots this game. Just a great team. This is so much fun to watch.

I thought Uthoff would be All B1G, but not 1st team All America. THe bench is huge key as mentioned. I did not see this year coming in either football or basketball.

Played poorly and still thrashed Rutgers on the road. Played well, especially well in the second half, and out played a ranked opponent with hostile officiating and lead by double digits most of the half and won by double digits.

I hate to say this but this squad might be really really good.

Yah, I think they're pretty damn good. Doesn't mean they can't lose one at some point. Hell, Purdue got beat by freakin' Illinois a couple of weeks ago. Figure that one out. But we have swept Mich St and Purdue in the same season. I can die with a smile.

the beauty of winning big is you can bitch about the refs with impunity. I really thought the refs were pretty good with the exception of a few truly horrendous calls.
