Don't think he was thinking tonight. If he was he is not very good at it IMO.So where do we find Fran's postgame presser? Really interested to hear what he was thinking tonight.

I can't think of the official's name right now, but as soon as I saw who was one of the officials, I knew it was going to be an interesting night.I suppose it's encouraging in a sadistically tragic sense that teams have to play ultra physical defense against Iowa just to keep us from scoring 80+ pts.
The tragic part being that we knew once Big Ten play started, officials would allow it to happen to allow teams to compete with Iowa.
Despite the moans and groans from officials who post on social media and fans, who moan and groan about other fans who complain about the officials, despite half the time not even knowing what the f*** it is we're complaining about.................officials absolutely do call the game differently for Iowa when they're on offense compared to when Iowa is on defense.
I don't necessarily know why it is. Whether they grow tired of our finesse offense and it's efforts to draw fouls, or Garza being such an overwhelming physical presence that they have to call him differently so as to not foul out every guy trying to hang with him,
(P.S. btw good or bad, I loved the "cylinder foul" that sent Connor to the FT line late, and yet we can have 3 guys doing the exact same thing to Garza on every possession.........that is f***ing consistency.)
Or if the officials actually are influenced in some way by overbearing coaches like Izzo etc, or truly feel like they don't want to bog the game down by calling too many fouls in spite of the paradoxical FACT that NOT enforcing the rules of the game also has a DIRECT f***ing impact on the game............
This is sarcasm right? If not I think you are a closet debbie fan.I suppose it's encouraging in a sadistically tragic sense that teams have to play ultra physical defense against Iowa just to keep us from scoring 80+ pts.

It is also not good when Nunge takes one shot less than Garza on the night. Garza should of had more than 13 shots tonight. Garza still needs to figure out when not to force shots as well. There were a few times tonight when that happened. Iowa took some very questionable shots after they got up 11 and OSU was starting to get back into the game.I suppose it's encouraging in a sadistically tragic sense that teams have to play ultra physical defense against Iowa just to keep us from scoring 80+ pts.

Yeah they have a habit when they get on a roll, to keep chucking quick shots rather than work their offense for a good shot to continue building a lead.It is also not good when Nunge takes one shot less than Garza on the night. Regardless of timeout, the guy inbounding the ball isn't allowed to move, unless after a made basket. If you are talking about the sideline out of bounds pass, there was a blatant travel that was completely missed.Check me if I'm wrong, but after a timeout, the guy inbounding the ball isn't allowed to move, right?
I'd have to look that up because I believe there is a certain freedom of movement rule allowed on deadball in-bounds plays, though yes you can turn it over from moving outside that invisible cylinder.Regardless of timeout, the guy inbounding the ball isn't allowed to move, unless after a made basket. Don't want to dwell on a call, as the Hawks deserved their fate, but that was a complete miss by the official that would have given Iowa the ball down 3 with about 30 seconds left. Honestly I have no idea how he missed it - it was totally obvious - the dude was almost running on the sideline.
I believe a player is allowed one step in either direction on a dead ball inbounds.I'd have to look that up because I believe there is a certain freedom of movement rule allowed on deadball in-bounds plays, though yes you can turn it over from moving outside that invisible cylinder.
