it’s hard to overstate how poor of a match tactics ayala displayed
Over, DA loses 6-7, dumb wrestling by Ayala to give up that late TD
Not impressed with Ayala obviously. But honestly I have never really been impressed with him.
Ayala should’ve pushed the pace more, waited too long. Teske gives up a td immediately, awesome start
Looking like this will be a longer year than I thought.
Can’t say I’m seeing what others are. That guy was ripe to be pushed and broke. Let him hang around and he pulled it out
Awful match by Ayala. Him without pace= a very average wrestler. He has poor takedown defense and no mat game so a slow match like that puts him at a big disadvantage. He wrestled like a guy afraid to lose and got his wish. Any discussion of him being a title threat can be put way on the back burner. Also that slide by is not going to be a constant money maker at this level. Guys are just countering at this point.
Totally agree! He has to push the pace early, he doesn’t have enough dominance to put ppl away. Too sloppy

he should have been more afraid to lose in the last minute. he took some really poor attacks that left himself way too exposed

Teske looked strong throughout. Idk that osu is good but teske did what was needed
Ayala needs to get stronger and faster. That was not a good match at all.
