I wonder if getting Owen can help us recruit other top talent?
Back in 1977 we (Maquoketa) played Western Dubuque and they had a lineman by the name of Henry Wachster (sp?) who went to play for Nebraska(?) and then the bears. We played at Western Dubuque but I don't remember what town the field was in.
He’s got a chance to be good, but his composite ranking is 180. Rankings don’t mean everything but that ranking isn’t the kind to catch the eye of other recruits who don’t know him.
How much do recruits look at composite rankings when they consider who they are talking to?
Heard his nickname is the “big O”.
I've been calling Josh Big O, so that might need to change.

This is what catches the eye of a recruit. 2 NPOY candidates over the past 3 years. And a different one potentially for the upcoming season.
I hear he's on a team with prospective Iowa PG Brock Harding.
