Owen Freeman

1980 Grad from Farley.
Back in 1977 we (Maquoketa) played Western Dubuque and they had a lineman by the name of Henry Wachster (sp?) who went to play for Nebraska(?) and then the bears. We played at Western Dubuque but I don't remember what town the field was in.

Schroeder's Tap. A truly iconic establishment. Ha. The memories.

I wonder if getting Owen can help us recruit other top talent?
He’s got a chance to be good, but his composite ranking is 180. Rankings don’t mean everything but that ranking isn’t the kind to catch the eye of other recruits who don’t know him.

How much do recruits look at composite rankings when they consider who they are talking to?

I've been calling Josh Big O, so that might need to change.

For youngsters, the original Big O was Oscar Robertson, who is one of the greatest NBA and college players of the 60s and early 70s. Still, would be considered by many to be one of the top 20 players of all time.

What happened to my post that contained Owen Freeman highlights? The post was deleted without my authorization.
