His TD throw with a Buckeye attached to his leg might be the second most memorable play for me after the Tate TD pass in the Cap One bowl.Nate Stanley's 5 TD passes vs OSU will forever be one of the most enjoyable Hawkeye games I've watched

According to twatter feeds he was setting one up according to 247.Beau Visiting Missouri tomorrow. Anyone hear if he’s scheduled anything at Iowa? Bring him in for a women’s basketball game in a packed Carver couldn’t hurt!
Hmmm…are you sure?😉They cut walk on players, once again, you cannot cut scholarship players.
Thought scholarships were year to year. Colorado sent some packing when Deon got there. Have things changed? They cut walk on players, once again, you cannot cut scholarship players.
Nope, not at all, and he was only able to get away with it year 1. He may suggest they will never see the field, and leaving is their choice.Thought scholarships were year to year. Colorado sent some packing when Deon got there. Have things changed?

All the best,
Tom Crean
Pribula would be the best QB on Iowa's roster. If Iowa can get him they should.

He was told that they were going to pursue another QB so it isnt a surprise. And they absolutely should be….it wouldnt surprise me if they carried 6 QBs but if we sign another one and a current QB leaves, so be it
We dont sit ok at QB. We need to bring in a very capable QB that can be the starterNot here to argue just trying to make the point that I think we sit ok if we don't add another QB. Lester has said publicly that he loves the portal and I think enjoys dipping his hand in it. This Penn State QB becoming available I think came as a surprise. Lester going after him doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't feel happy with what he has. He will pursue the opportunity and take things from there.
CJB bomb to Tevaun was pretty sweet - though we still lost 🙁
We don't have the $ to get him. He may visit and like Lester but in the end a bag of cash will help him decide.Pribula would be the best QB on Iowa's roster. If Iowa can get him they should.
that is sad part if Iowa can't even get another team's backup why even bother tryingWe don't have the $ to get him. He may visit and like Lester but in the end a bag of cash will help him decide.

Let’s start an NIL to fund the bulldozers to demolish Kinnick Stadium. It’s the only solution.that is sad part if Iowa can't even get another team's backup why even bother trying
Sounds a little drastic, but how much do you think that would run? 🤔Let’s start an NIL to fund the bulldozers to demolish Kinnick Stadium. It’s the only solution.
This will be really interesting to watch over the years. I wonder how many players will actually be losing $ in the long run by chasing NIL paychecks by transferring every 1-2 years and losing out on good, consistent coaching and development? There won't be any way to prove it, but it makes sense that there will be a lot of players giving up potential NFL careers by selling-out to the highest NIL bidder. For these athletes it's not always about the biggest pay check,.. go after him.
At this point, we can’t afford not to. No matter the cost.Sounds a little drastic, but how much do you think that would run? 🤔
Esp as the landscape evolves into a per-school cap (and potential becoming employees, maybe unionizing/bargaining). The wild west days only last so long. Consistently feeding guys into the NFL will remain the major tell. This will be really interesting to watch over the years. They are not adding 20 scholarships. To your point, they are also not taking any scholarships away. It’s walk ons that are for the most part, being axed.Per cutting players. I thought the B1G had a no cut policy, but it wasn't an NCAA policy. And with an extra 20 scholarships available if you have the money, they can add several QBs and not have to Crean anyone.
Still one of my favorite calls of all time.CJB bomb to Tevaun was pretty sweet - though we still lost 🙁
Good point, but they also have no guarantees regarding the NFL. Bird in the hand? This will be really interesting to watch over the years. Just having the juice to get the visit is about 9 steps in the right direction, but my money isn’t on Iowa either.I don't think this program has the juice to pull this off today. Too much negative history to overcome. Prove me wrong Lester.
Why?

Coaches told Hank they were going to try to get another QB in the portal
So is gettting him to visit like a close loss to Michigan or ISU and how will it positively impact the team next year?Getting him to simply be interested in Iowa is huge, imo. Getting him to actually visit is even bigger.
