Penn St QB Beau Pribula has Committed to Missouri after Visiting IOWA Wed, Dec 18. Will Iowa add a 6th QB to the Roster?

Unfortunately it’s looking like Ole Miss, his agent(brother) is only following one coach from any of the teams on his list, Kiffin… if he’s foolish enough to play for frost or Kiffin we don’t want him.
Yeah, if he is foolish enough to choose a coach known for prolific offenses instead of one known for fielding some of the worst offense in modern history, he clearly isn’t playing chess like we are.

Looks like a bunch of rebels media and one Hawkeye media tagged in photo… so down to us two? With rebels most likely. Once again agent only following kiffin so that’s my assumption at this point…

They are probably better than what I think. In fairness, I didn’t watch Iowa much after Minnesota, so I probably shouldn’t critique. My issue was they had a lot of experience and still seemed to struggle as a unit at times.
The biggest issue was our OL went up against 8 in the box alot. With a back like Johnson that could break one at any time, Lester let him tote the rock more. We still lack a WR who can beat man-on-man coverage. We played two redshirt WR (Buie and Howard) and a true freshman WR (VanderZee). All made a few nice plays this year. Gill is back next year and TE's are finally healthy. Will probably pass more in the bowl game.

Honestly, I don't give a shit how many QBs we have or whether or not we hurt any feelings. This is now officially a business. It's KF, Lester, and Tyler's job to bring in the best players they can afford and everything will settle out in camp. Iron sharpens iron and competition breeds success.
Sad as it is, I can't argue. You nailed it 👏

The 2020 squad put up good numbers, but that was the beginning of the downfall.
Thatv2020 team still had ISM and BSmith. But it also had a full-time Tyler Goodson, a more-than-adequate Mekhi Sargent, and a more mature Tyler Lindebaum. The only real step back was Petras, and he proved, for that season, that he was more than just "competent".

I don't, I will stand by the most important part of your offense is a productive line. Iowa was lucky this year to have a generational RB, I wasn't sold on the OL this year at all. Imagine how much more productive Raiola would have been this year with a line. That is why Debbie sucks, they have a crapload of skill players, the #1 QB recruit, and yet a sack at the end of the game leads to a fumble and a L.
Excellent point, excellent post. Well done!

Do you consider Nate Stanley to be in the same conversation as Chuck Long, Brad Banks, Chuck Hartlieb, CJ Beathard, hell even Drew Tate?
Actually, I would say he is. Not the best, of course, but he is in the conversation. Every argument you can make for or against applies to the others, at least in terms of "surrounding team members".

Time for some Iowa City car lot to " loan" an SVU and have it delivered by a well endowed and without morals Escort whose business card says Thumb in .
