I really don’t like PennState football but as much as I don’t I have to admit that #44 (Warren) the TE and #11 (Abdul Carter) the LB, might be the two best non-QB position players in college football.

That Carter reminds me of a FULL sized Bobby Sanders (6-3, #250)…a great tackler and great speed….and Tyler Warren has just baled Penn St offense out all year….he catches everything damn near….

Wasn't the winner of the top tier 4 conferences get the 1-4 seeds? Why the hell did MW champ get 3 seed? Not saying Clemson was probably more deserving but they did win ACC (which is doing awful in bowls)... but that also shows discrepancy in top 4 big conferences (with Big 10 and SEC separating themselves).... I'll eat my words if ASU beats Texas but gotta clean up the seeding. Treat it like a good old fashion wrestling seeding meeting.
Final gripe is that now Georgia and Oregon being 1 and 2 seed probably having the toughest quarterfinals match ups? What?
May the best team win I suppose.....

They did it to to preserve the importance of conference championship games. Those games make conferences a lot of TV money. I agree it's stupid. They should get auto bids not byes. and then seed accordingly.
