I think Penn St may be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the expanded playoff. They rarely beat Ohio St or Michigan, but can win the rest of their games. I saw a stat where if the playoffs were expanded from the 2014 season and on that they would’ve made like 7 appearances.

Penn State is a very solid program. Ferentz is 10-9 against Penn State.
