And hopefully, if recent history is any indication, he did not pout for one flat second of the 40 minutes he spent on the bench today. He knows good and well that it's just a matter of time before his number will be called...same with JT and Perk and the rest of the guards. They all have different but complementary skill sets, giving us a lot of flexibility and capability to counter what the other team is throwing at us. Another good example is Sandfort. Seemed like he played nearly half of the opening stanza...and then to Doodle's knowlege, didn't see the floor in the second half. Or if he did, it was extremely limited.
The point is, it's a very good sign that Fran appears to be fully in tune with what combinations are working and which guys are contributing at any given moment in these games. Everyone wants to play. But so far, egos appear to be firmly in check and all efforts seem focused on, as Mr. Schembechler was fond of saying, "the team, the team, the team."
What happened to Rutgers is what is supposed to happen to what we'll just agree to call "very physical". They foul almost constantly with the knowledge that the officials simply will not call every foul. They hope to get more value from thuggery than loss from giving up 20+ FTs.
Now the historic blue blood thugs, Indiana, Purdue, the Michigan schools and more recently Wisconsin employ the same game plan but the league rewards them because they get called for probably little more 25% of what could be called, and should be called, plus a disproportionate number of OB balls, etc... Nobody cares about Rutgers so they get called for a lot of fouls.

The only dive I saw was at the very end of the game. In Iowa’s back court as time ran out.
He didn't so much dive at Kris's legs as flail out of control at the basket then fall down, hoping to draw a foul.

My plane was taking off - lost game signal....what happened with the Connor skirmish, did he get T'd or kicked out?
Both, got ejected for his second tech. Nothing physical, just words exchanged both times.
I ended watching on my phone while I 'worked' from home, I think it did get better though...
