Is this the game where Howard said "look at that little monkey go". Imagine what would the outrage be if an announcer said that in today's culture.I thought it was Keith Jackson.

And hopefully, if recent history is any indication, he did not pout for one flat second of the 40 minutes he spent on the bench today. He knows good and well that it's just a matter of time before his number will be called...same with JT and Perk and the rest of the guards. They all have different but complementary skill sets, giving us a lot of flexibility and capability to counter what the other team is throwing at us. Another good example is Sandfort. Seemed like he played nearly half of the opening stanza...and then to Doodle's knowlege, didn't see the floor in the second half. Or if he did, it was extremely limited. It's tough. The focus is on winning the game. Toussaint was really good in the first half and Perkins was playing so well in the second half it's hard to sub in when guys are playing so well. If Iowa is to win the BTT, it's likely Ulis will need to play some good minutes either due to foul trouble or how the game is going. Could be as soon as Indiana.
What happened to Rutgers is what is supposed to happen to what we'll just agree to call "very physical". They foul almost constantly with the knowledge that the officials simply will not call every foul. They hope to get more value from thuggery than loss from giving up 20+ FTs.Rutgers is a team with some serious issues.
Next time we hear about some brawl in MBB, pretty good chance one of the teams will be Rutgers.
Bunch of little bitches,
Anyone know the point in time where Connor said a Rutgers player tried to trip Kris, I think that is who he said, on the fast break and when the same player dove at his legs?
That was Mulcahey. See above pic. If that pic was taken a few brief moments later, you would see him reaching behind his head and trying to grab Kris by the ankles.Anyone know the point in time where Connor said a Rutgers player tried to trip Kris, I think that is who he said, on the fast break and when the same player dove at his legs?
Thanks. I found that but I haven't looked to see when he dove at Kris'? legs. Not the best shot, but he definitely grabs Kris’ leg as he runs away. Pretty dirty.

The only dive I saw was at the very end of the game. In Iowa’s back court as time ran out.Thanks. I found that but I haven't looked to see when he dove at Kris'? legs.
He didn't so much dive at Kris's legs as flail out of control at the basket then fall down, hoping to draw a foul.Thanks. I found that but I haven't looked to see when he dove at Kris'? legs.
Okay. I thought Connor made it sound like two different possessions. He didn't so much dive at Kris's legs as flail out of control at the basket then fall down, hoping to draw a foul.
Post-game interviews were directed by Orson Welles. The camera angles on both of Fran’s interviews were wonky as hell.
He is a whiny BMulcahey is a dirty player and has been since day one. He just is not B Davison yet.
Both, got ejected for his second tech. Nothing physical, just words exchanged both times. My plane was taking off - lost game signal....what happened with the Connor skirmish, did he get T'd or kicked out?
I ended watching on my phone while I 'worked' from home, I think it did get better though...Is it still off now that the second half has begun?
