Teske committs to PSU

Sucks for us. But killer to ISU. They were all in and their fans were setting it as an ISU victory against Iowa. Ouch.

Imagine if you did not troll so much and more than 1/4th of the board could still see your posts.
Was that a burn? Those that have me on ignore SHOULD have me on ignore ...so not really sure what you're getting at here. I understand and can even appreciate that many can't deal with hearing things they disagree with or truths they aren't ready to accept. It's the world we live in. Society has grown soft so the ignore feature is needed and I fully encourage the weak to use it. :)

The school you support, and its administration and football staff protected and harbored a pedophile. These actions led to more young boys being molested. You and every Ped State fan on this earth make me sick. There is some truth for you douchebag. Go back to your board and converse with the rest of the peds. To the rest of the world you are all lower than whale shit on the bottom of the ocean.

The problem is that you keep getting booted and coming up with new screen names. Why do you insist on posting here? Don't you have anything better to do? Don't you have a wife and kids to go play with?

Thank you. And I appreciate that you are part of the 1/4 that still listens to what I say.

For you and the other psu posters I know how difficult it must be for you knowing as most do, that rules and regulations are being circumvented. Feel free to put me on ignore as I know “it’s difficult hearing truths you aren’t willing to accept”.

Jordon Conaway and Franklin Gomez. There's plenty of folks Teas and RBY can roll with.

According to the talk, Suriano had to go all the way up to Zain to get a good workout partner. Also, when was the last time Conaway wrestled a match....NCAAs in 2016? Edit: I see that Dardanes wrestled Conaway at the Open in 2017 and beat him. BTW, he is in our room too.

Yeah, I thought someone would eventually bring that up cuz I heard that talk as well. I still find it hard to believe he wasn't getting good workouts with the guys near his weight or Nick Lee couldn't give him a proper turn. How much did that room change in a year? It was good enough for Nico in helping him win a National Championship. He did beat Gilman who I assume you feel has much better guys to workout with. Did he do that in spite of his partners?

As for Nick, he's at Rutgers now. Are the guys he's going to have as partners that much better there than they were at PSU. I'm asking because I seriously don't know. I assume not but maybe I'm missing something or someone. I've read in the Rutgers board he goes with DiJulius but to me he'd be compareable to Conaway.

Why do you have such a fascination with pedophilia? You need some therapy. Maybe at Fort Madison.

And to add... I respect every poster on HR even Don with his conspiracy theories and Champion with his Cael hate because they do have actual wrestling knowledge. You however are a hateful prick that unfortunately have not been called out by your peers.

I'll just point out that Cruz of Lehigh won 125 this past year. Who were his workout partners? Workout partners are important, but not the end all, be all in the sport.

That’s B.S.

It’s not that he hasn’t been called out. He has time and again by HR posters. We just realize he doesn’t give a shit.

Difference is Cruz won't make the international seen, the right room develops that
You're moving the goalposts. We were discussing whether the PSU room had enough quality for RBY and Teasdale to become national champions. I simply pointed out Cruz as a recent example.

I get that, but most college wrestlers minds are Olympic motivated as well. That is why I chimed in. Psu can do it with middle/semi heavys and Iowa with Lower weights to middle but we are trending up on heavier weights

RBY is focused on international wrestling. I believe Tomas Gilman will be ok with his college career if he ends up with an Olympic gold. Spencer Lee is focused on Olympic gold that's why he went to Iowa. Teasdale knows that he is behind in international wrestling so his focus will be on NCAAs. RBY will make Teasdale his mule after a couple of months then he will have to work with bigger guys to get what he needs.

This would be a damn good recruiting pitch for a shit program.

Not sure how accurate you are on this one. I think Teasdale is a much better freestyle wrestler than folk. He's made world teams and was right there with Daton Fix not long after Fix beat Spencer Lee.

That's the recruiting pitch for 95% of all programs. Only a little over half of all AA's come from the top 10 teams, so that means that guys can get into the upper echelon without world class guys in the room. I think that sometimes we start believing our own recruiting pitches. Cary Kolat went to Lock Haven to win two titles and there are many other examples out there. I think great partners is important, but it isn't everything. That said, every wrestler in a top four programs has enough quality in the room.

Right - Kolat learned to wrestle at Lock Haven. Could you possibly pick a worse example?

Still not understanding why you are trying so hard to deny the obvious truth that great wrestlers don't necessarily need great partners. Thus my Cary Kolat example! Sheesh...

Not sure RBY and Teasdale -- the original subjects of this "room partners" discussion -- are chumps who need to learn to wrestle. They will be starting off at high levels and will improve in the PSU room, even if their only partners are one another (which won't be the case, anyway).

Just seems like people are searching for endless ways to discredit a very successful program that looks to continue its roll. I guess that's just human nature.

There are exceptions - yes everyone and their dog knows that. But the exception doesn't shallow the rule - the rule being that a wrestler needs solid workout partners to improve. I don't know why you would even bother typing a post if all you meant to tell us is there are exceptions. You're just chasing your tail.

PSU has a great room at the middle and upper weights, not so good at the lower weighs. Is this hard for you to understand? In your mind this is Penn State bashing? Go away - Please.

We know a little something about this but I think it has increased with the internet.

I will list one a day, and we'll it's a lot.
I'll start with an old mentor Jack Cuvo.

I'll do one a day too, but I am going to go back even further to drag this out even more: Nick Gallo.

Not every expression of views that could be construed as showing a relative preference for the Iowa wrestling room over PSU's is borne of envy at what PSU has. Your first paragraph makes a fair point. Your second paragraph is kind of silly.

I've wrestled my whole life. Have many friends that have been in the Iowa program and that are still close to the program. I train 3 or 4 days a week in a MMA gym still today. In the end, none of that changes what I said, it is all the truth. I'm not really a hateful prick, I just hate pedophiles and those that root for them. For me, it is the fact that so many of you come here and talk shit. Call me when you get to 23 you dumb prick.
