But it certainly does not do what you indicated. I don't believe for a second that anyone here is envious of what PSU has.

The HWC with these guys all training together is really outstanding I can not see how any 125/33/41 prospect would not be drooling at the chance of training at the HWC. The addition of Delgado and his style you will now have all extremely high caliber guys with all different styles to go with in that room amazing really when you think about the talent within those weights.

Hey, I generally stay off your board, but Vodka came to ours and stated he always calls out HR posters making those types of posts. Just wondering if he will this time, which is probably no since he went after a follow up post but didn't comment on the first one. So, you can call me whatever you want, I am just looking for consistency between what someone says they do and actual actions.

First off I never said I always call out posters. I said I have called out posters in the past for making the Sandusky/pedo comments.
I came to your board the other day for the first time in 6 months and in the second thread I read, I saw a casual joke making light of pedophilia and statutory rape of an 8th grader. I point out that it isn't a good look for a PSU fan to be making a casual joke defending pedophilia. My post gets removed by the moderator, but the moderator leaves up the original disgusting pedophilia comment. 10 people attack me for criticizing the pedophilia comment and not a single person criticizes the original 'joke' (aren't jokes supposed to be funny). And now you follow me to HR?
Maybe if you don't want WEH8 making those comments you should stop condoning comments on BWI that make light of pedophilia. You call HR a safe space but moderation on HR is 10x more open than on BWI. Now go make another thread on BWI about HR. Gossip like a 14 year old girl on the internet.

I would agree completely, you don’t have to be here. I have never been on your site and will continue to stay off your site and you can continue to stay off ours. It never ceases to amaze me that psu posters come on our site and then can’t understand when there are negatives posted about cael and or psu.
The only thread I made on BWI about HR was asking a specific question about things posted here, I never bashed HR other than a subtle jab about why I just stay away. I also never condone any posts on BWI, i generally keep to myself. In fact, until now, my only post on HR was to give you credit for a funny post.
And even now I was only criticizing one pretty heavy handed poster and asking if you agreed with him, since you strongly suggested you did not condone those types of posts. But here you went and commented on a followip, but not the original.
Please show were I even discussed safe places or actually slammed any HR posters, other than as listed above. I would rather have intellegent conversation, but since you don’t want me here I will stay away. And while I generally hate the big posts about how someone is leaving, I guess, at your requests, I will too.

PSU fans have serious issues. It is so odd. I would love for someone to complete some research on their mental complex. The pedophile stuff at Penn State did a number on their collective state of mind and their defensive mechanisms have lost all reason.
I guarantee you some of these same people would have had no issue tearing down an Urban Meyer statue if the situation happened under his watch. Let alone if he and a number of higher ups actually knew and allowed for rape of young boys to occur in his locker room and still did nothing.
However, now they blindly defend any and all criticism of anything affiliated with the university. Even truthful and valid questioning, regardless of how meager, results in absolute admonishment and vitriol from an alarming number of PSU fans. Their behavior has now made me realize how the cover up was possible in the first place. I actually believe a staggering number of their fans posting on this very site would have actively assisted in the cover up if they were aware of the raping that was going on their university's campus. It is sad.

I'm almost certainly making a mistake here, but I think folks are getting off on the wrong foot. PSUPaul is a good guy if you give him a chance, but that comes with the caveat that he is a passionate fan of his team, which happens to be the dreaded PSU. He isn't a troll, though. Maybe some will give him a mulligan . . .
That said . . . PSUPaul, you should just come to expect some aggression in return for your thoughts. By all accounts there are some great people and perspectives on the HR, but there are also plenty who just absolutely do not want PSU fans participating here (despite that it is a Rivals forum), and some of them can get nasty. In some cases, I empathize, because they do get trolled a lot. Your call on whether you want to navigate those waters, but I tend to believe that filtering is a necessary chore on most boards, including the PSU boards. It's just tougher to be a PSU fan here, that's all.
The way I see it here, PSU posters can be measured, evaluated, and ranked on a special HR scale known as the doucheometer. The doucheometer has 11 intervals between 9.1 and 10.1, as follows:

• 9.4: Gushing Douche

Post that on BWI and see what kind of response you get. It will be more entertaining than any wrestling match on the mat, watching PSU fans wrestle with their inner morality and then having Paterno come out on top (with a poor child on the bottom along with anyone who told the truth).
Sorry, Sans, just goofing around. Look, HR has good stuff. BWI has good stuff. But there's just so much bitterness and vitriol between the boards. It's still the off-season and people finding common ground seems hopeless (except for the charities, which is a great). The rest of the time, it gets ugly, and I wish it were different. I try to wade through the negativity with some humor. But yeah, not everyone has the same style.
Bottom line is that I appreciate elements of what both boards bring, and I wish there could be more interaction without angry, hateful debate. Kumbaya and all. It's still the off-season.
