I told you guys beforehand that Drinkwitz is a try hard and was gonna have Missouri selling out to win the Music City Bowl.
They've been very chippy all game, and are absolutely treating it like it's the most important game of the season.

Too bad the defense didn't show up much in the first half, or Hawks might be up 21-10/21-7 right now - AND getting the ball to start the 2nd half.
Sullivan looks like the QB we have wanted for a long time. Up to this point he has played lights out.

That was unnecessary by Kirk. Just a great 1st half by Sully.
What gets forgotten about Sullivan in that ucla game: when allowed to be himself and run on instincts he is fine. In that ucla game you know he was told to be cautious and protect himself, ie don’t run. That hesitation got him hurt.

That number would be different if a kickoff hadn't been run back for the hawks.
Screw ESPN, but can't fault their shtick at half time about being surprised by the Iowa offense being fun to watch in that first half.
That stretch play has essentially become their version of "taking a shot downfield" late in the half. It has served us well before, this season.
The defense had a rough first quarter. Ended the half forcing 2 punts.
