We are a mediocre team a game or two over 500, until we show something better or worse. That was a horrendous performance today, we looked like a team with marginal talent running thru spring drills.

Georgia Tech is solid, feisty, very well-coached team. Playing them on foreign soil in Week 0 with a bunch of new starters is asking for disaster.
There is so much that FSU can improve on, and that coaching staff has given you all no reason to believe that they won’t figure things out and play closer to their ceiling than to their floor.

I can't imagine this board if Iowa loses one of it's first 3 games. These Noles are taking it pretty well. Props.

I think ISU is one of our 3 or 4 toughest games. Great to win that game, but not devastating if we lose.
We'll go our usual 8-4 to 10-2 and miss the Big Ten championship and playoffs and get an invite to the outback bowl (or whatever it's called now). Rinse and repeat for 25 years. Somewhere between mediocre and pretty ok. High floor, low ceiling. The Iowa Way.
And while I appreciate we haven't seen too many truly terrible years, a lot of those win totals are against less than stellar competition in the B10 West. And maybe it's just me, but I'm truly tired of many of our fan bases' attitude of "aw shucks, we're just Iowa, we can't expect to win championships".
I'm really happy it's in Kinnick this year. Gonna be an electric atmosphere. North end zone represent!
They'll be one of the better defensive teams we see and a lot of people will be melting down that we're scoring 40 points.

There shouldn't be any question if DJ can launch it, problem is he does not read through his progressions, stares down Benson all day long, and has a slow release. He threw some very nice, deep and late balls.
