With my limited understanding of the circumstances and what Jan has said in press conferences:
Guyton is not out for the full year.
Guyton will start practicing soon when cleared.
Guyton is really really needed as a "true" PG to backup Olsen and if Olsen goes down for some reason. Sure, Jan and crew could cobble something together without Guyton. However, Guyton "should" give us a much better measure of comfort to take on faster B1G PGs without getting our pocket picked so easily.
