What seed is Iowa on selection Sunday?

You said we were out of the dance for nearly a decade before Fran. Now if you want to give your guy a pass for not being able to make the field of 68 til year 4 and field of 64 til year 5 despite inheriting Gatens and Marble that's on you.
Hoiberg inherited an equal mess and had zero coaching experience yet he was in the dance year 2 til he left for the Bulls because he was smart enough to bring in transfers. What you said is just not accurate, it had been a 4 season drought before Fran added to it
My thoughts exactly. We wanted to stay a 7, but couldn't take care of business.
A 10....matchup vs an Oregon 2021 level 7 seed. Give up 101 points and lose by 18.

Oregon is gonna need to at least get to the Finals of the Pac 12 tournament just to claim an 11 seed.
I put down an eighth seed, but realistically it doesn't matter, even if they won their first game and that's a big if, their history dictates that they won't advance past the 1st game.
Fran's position less basketball doesn't work in the NCAA tournament and for that matter in the Big Ten against teams that have legit centers, and playing only 7 players over the last 10 games or so has sucked the life out of them.
Fran and his staff got their bonus for making the tournament and that was the main goal of playing the short bench, other then that, 13 years of Fran and the end of year NCAA disappointments has sucked my enthusiasm of Iowa advancing to the round of 16 under Fran.

USC isn't good IMO. Watched them quite a bit.
We'll be an 8-seed, just to rub it in our faces that we were probably a comfortable 7 seed before this last 2-game debacle with a good chance to play up to a 6. This program has been more about the "what-ifs" than any team I have ever followed.
Some good mid major teams we want to avoid in the first round. So no matter the seed, I don't want to see Florida Atlantic on that screen paired with Iowa.
