I love Iyo Sky
That match was solid, Bianca walking her up the stairs upright was awesome...again another solid 3 hours tonight, everything was decent at worst and or very entertaining...Bronson/Braun had another entertaining encounter...and Punk/Drew has to be crazy with the build they've had.

This ending is straight up fire, Mid-South circa 1985 where different heels just obliterate the faces as the show goes off the air, only thing missing was the pools of blood...H is cooking...and has Judgement day just as entertaining if not moreso than the Bloodline.

I donno if they were piping in those boos, but they were loud.

Yep. RAW was/is so much more entertaining than Smackdown. The storylines have so much more heat than what is on Smackdown right now. Just another Bloodline feud that is slogging along. Need something to turn the heat up on that.

Any of you familiar with Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling? It is apparently a relaunch of an organization from 20ish years ago, that was co-owned by Dusty Rhodes. From what I have heard, Dustin and a sister are involved in ownership and operations.
They are doing a show this weekend at my local brewery. Matches start at the same time as the FSU game, so I think I will be there instead of torturing myself watching us suck again.

Turnbuckle is what Dusty started after he was done with WCW for the final time if I remember correctly and eventually morphed/worked with FCW the pre-cursor to NXT which got Dusty back in the WWE fold over time....Maybe this is Dustin's next chapter...as he is winding down in the ring. He deserves success, hope it works out for him.

Update After Googling.... December 2023, Nightmare Factory LLC, under the leadership of WWE star Cody Rhodes, filed for the trademark of "Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling".

Ya I saw Cody’s logo down at the bottom of some of their material.

Rumor around the internet that AEW is close to finalizing new 3 to 4 year deal with Discovery/ WB. Around 170 million a year. Chances are some of their content starts streaming over to MAX. Perhaps turning some of the PPV’s over on MAX.

I'm sure they do exaggerate or mislead, but he's also a pretty big POS.
Here’s the list not including Grant

Raped a referee.
Covered for pedophiles. See ring boys. And then bringing one of the perps back on full time. Ronnie Garvin and Pat Patterson would both prey on younger guys a lot.
Pretended to act as if Jimmy Snuku was a savage that didn’t understand English to LEO’s. Interference for a murder.
Multiple exposing himself to tanning salon workers.
Refusing to pay workers even with contracts.
Hid a rape that involved the US Army during a USO tour.
Interviewed Brian Pillman’s widow on live TV like one day afterwards.
Demanded the cheaper rigging be used for Owen Hart's stunt.
Multiple NDA’s for sex for push of talent.
Not paying territories owners after agreeing to buyouts
Drugs
That’s off the top of my head

And if anyone uses the excuse of him being removed from all of those employees activities. They’re disingenuous. Vince is a well known micromanager and during the 80s and much of the 90s the WWF was a fairly small operation personnel wise.

I buy into all of this except, I don't think Pat Patterson was was abusing kids, the person I heard first hand accuse him was Piper, during a shoot when he wasn't with the company, but many other people have defended him (including JR, Bruce and Cornette who worked very close with him) and claim he was lumped into that mess simply because he was out in an industry that few were, but it sounds like he and his partner were together for decades and well before he came out.

I think their is plenty of story to tell with Vince that they shouldn't have to embellish anything, his real life was crazier than fiction...I hope they do tap into what drove/broke him to behave and treat people the way he did over the years. I know he was abused as a kid, but their has to be some sort of mental issue with him as well.

When I was a kid, the behind the scenes stuff fascinated me, and nobody more than Vince once I found out he wasn't just the announcer.

Ronny and the Ring Announcer were the ones who groomed the ones under 18. That were trying to break into the industry setting up rings.
Pat hit on several talents Brickhouse Brown, Jim Powers, and another jobber that never quite made it. All of those talents that rebuffed him soon found themselves out of the WWF.
RVD is quoted as saying when he was first breaking in Brown set down a bunch of the younger talent and gave the 411.
