It really is pathetic. 87 total yards in a half against a 2-7 team.

There are for sure players that no longer give a shit.

As said earlier DJ Moore has checked out. Twice the announcers highlighted how no receivers were open for the Bears and both time Moore was not even trying to get open.

Team looks completely unmotivated. Flus has lost the team.
Bears run little motion to help Caleb, so many bunch formations, no screens and no pace. Also wasted 2 timeouts cus they can’t get a play in on time.

The Broncos / Chiefs game is compelling. I just can't get excited about watching the Bears solely to see Taylor's punts.

One thing that has never been resolved is the length of the contract given to Eberflus. It's never been publicly released if he signed a 4, or a 5 year deal when he was hired. As a Bears fan I cringe at the thought of the notoriously cheap McCaskey's wanting to keep Eberflus for fear of paying a guy to not coach. My second cringe moment is that Poles hired Eberflus, so, what does that say about his judgement?

All the skill players we had this year and it means nothing without a line to protect your quarterback
In all fairness if everyone is healthy the line is average. Beaten up without the starting tackles, Jenkins playing hurt…they’re terrible. Poles better draft at least 2 OL with the first 3 picks. The other pick needs to be dline.

I don't care if Jenkins ends up finishing the year as an All-Pro. With his injury history let him walk

If they had a bye next week, I think Eberflus would be the first head coach in team history to get fired in the middle is the season. He has lost the team, Waldron is a fired man walking.

It sounds like Eberflus is open to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic by changing play callers.
Good to know.

That will now make it Eberflus's third OC in three years. And the only OCs that have been fired this year is Waldron and Getsy. Flus is soo gunna be fired after this year. Its ass-saving time for him.

I'm resigned to the fact that they will continue to collapse down the stretch and Flus will be fired at the end of the season. Caleb will be working with a different system in year 2. A tale as old as time.
I'm not worried about Caleb learning a new offensive system compared to Trubisky/Fields. I think he can pick it up quickly. Right now, Caleb seems to be running the current offense better than the rest of the players. What may be damaging for Caleb is now to get rid of this "don't fuq up!" belief that Flus imbedded in him and just play loose. If that continues post-Flus then we may be in trouble.

What’s the highest pick we can get this year
With the rest of the schedule, and being underdogs in all of them, I think Bears will definitely be picking top 10. Probably higher. If they lose out they are top 3-5. 5-11 is probably top 8. Hopefully a left tackle is in our future.
