This is as angry as I have been after any loss in a long time. Our DE got held THREE TIMES on that play. No effing flag. That would have set them up really well for the playoffs. Damn. It!!!
They didn’t play well on offense all game long. But, that was a kick in the balls.
The Bears almost stole one. Washington probably deserved to win as they controlled the game and caleb took too long to get going. Bears will be fine.

Bears line is awful and Washington put constant pressure on Caleb. Kingbury has put Daniels in a good position to succeed.

Shane waldron didn’t help Caleb either. Depleted offensive line, no rb targets, 1 pass to kmet…..he’s a terrible play caller.
4th and 1 on our own 40 and he draws up a nagy/getsy throw behind the line. Jesus. FML

Watching the bears and Iowa are very similar. Everyone else sees the common sense plays that will work….not our coordinators.
This. And their offensive line is brutal, I’m shocked that Williams made it through the game. It only gets tougher from here for the Bears. Hopefully no significant injuries on the line, because even though they are bad, they aren’t going to get any help during the season.
Guy who was supposed to defend was talking trash to the fans in the middle of the play. He’s the guy that inadvertently tipped it to the WAS receiver.
Pretty good chance #29 is gonna be running laps for an extended period of time at the next practice.

The Bears cannot go forward with this coaching staff beyond this season. They MIGHT have a franchise qb but this staff will not develop him to his potential. Flus is too dumb, and waldron isn't the guy... and Flus hired him. There's no guarantee the next coach will be better, but we know what Flus and his staff will be. Solid defense, below avg offense, and AWFUL game mgmt decisions.
The OLineman fullback dive/fumble was much more boneheaded than the hail mary. In hindsight, the Bears shouldn't have had everyone go for the jump ball. Have 4 guys jump for it and have the other 2-3 defenders stay on the ground and look for the tip. Oh well, stuff happens. Chicago didn't deserve to win that game anyway, but they almost stole one.

Problem is he'd get grabbed instantly by a good organization, with a good coach and be a stud for the next 6-8 years. Steelers or Ravens would probably make him a pro bowler bc that's what good orgs do. Bears aren't that and it's bc they keep hiring stupid people.
Yeah he got one. There was at least three other occasions where I was yelling at the TV for him to shut the f**k up and walk away.
He played for Miami, so you have to just expect a certain amount of f*ckery. You’ll likely never hear a guy from the U referred to as being “like having an extra coach on the field.”
