I'm at a loss for words.
I refuse to let the Bears hurt me. My wife actually watched the 4th quarter. I said, “Do you understand now why I have gotten so upset after Packers games? This has been 30 years of what you just watched.”

He’s driven the Bears down the field twice now for what should have been game winning points. Bears lost both games. Trubisky almost never did that. Same with Fields. I think Caleb is our guy.
Its very clear at this point, Flus's Bears have found ways to lose. Even when everything is going well Flus is making decisions that decent NFL coaches don't make. I don't see how the locker room can view him positively after these last few weeks.

Reminds me of Hicks's comments after a GB home loss in 2017 (go figure). Didn't outright say it but he implemented that Fox was not the guy and he should be replaced. I def see the team going this way now.

Hoge spot on. Packers were on their heels. You play aggressive there. Too many times I’ve seen this play out as an Iowa fan and bears fan.

Packers made some bad decisions as well and basically handed the bears an opportunity to win. In the end though, the better team won. GO PACK GO! SUCK IT @Hawked

I said the same thing. The longsnapper got trucked by two guys, but I don't know the actual NFL rule regarding this.
Well coached teams like Packers know nfl refs aren't calling shit like that on the last kick of the game. As ex bears long snapper said, you just need to be a lot tougher and more stout in that situation. The left guard was really soft. Losers find ways to lose and that's what kind of team Flus and Poles have built.

Yep, you can't touch the center at all let alone propell yourself off of him while trying to block a punt.

WTF do some of these phucking dumbass refs watch or look at? JFC it should be a fine or jailtime for these pricks.

Let the coaches throw a challenge flag. "I wanna see what happened to my center guys".

They have to line up outside the center's shoulder pads. They were. There is nothing about not touching the center. Completely legal play

You have a mixture of senior citizens, DEI'esque hires and a handful of competent refs deciding the outcomes of the most valuable sports entertainment league in the world... what do you expect? It's embarrassingly bad more times than not.

Wrong.
NFL rules prohibit defenders from making contact with the long snapper when his head is down and within one second of the snap.

I love how on the Score Bernstine is now telling us he knew Eberflus was a bad hire from the start...
The other odd thing about some of today's coverage has been all of the mentions of Lincoln Riley being brought in next season. (Sigh).

He did and as much as he makes me want to vomit with most of his takes he wasn't wrong. Bernstein is especially critical of the acronym coaches... as soon as he heard HITS principle he was out on Flus. I held out hope but it was red flag for me as well. These are professional athletes making 10s of millions of dollars... not high school kids.

It's been 24 hours. Why is Eberflus still employed? I swear to God, somewhere around 2015 I moved into an alternate reality where nothing makes sense anymore.

One reason…they’ve never fired a head coach in-season.
