Arkansas St (1-2) got smoked by the Badgers 105-76 a few weeks ago. Two up tempo teams facing off tonight, look at that over/under!

Hawks should take care of business, but I expect a bit of a hangover from Tuesday's loss. I like the hawks 91-74 in this one.

Hope I see the newbies get more minutes tonight. As good as Krikke and Payton were, the other 3 didn't excite me much.
I hope that Fran doesn't use Payton too much tonight and allow him to recover from his bump and bruises he got at Creighton.

Arkansas State is undersized and they commit a lot of fouls. Wisconsin had zero issue cutting to the bucket or throwing it to the block to get easy looks. Wisconsin looked lackadaisical for stretches on defense putting Arkansas State on the line too much and letting Arkansas State seemingly drive the ball inside consistently.

Should be a good game for Iowa's front court to get buckets and rebounds.

#2 Freddy Hicks will be a player to watch at the 4 spot. I don't know how much Fran will play Payton but that's a matchup to keep an eye on.

Yes, I'm prejudice, I went to see lot's of Owen Freeman and Brock Harding in this game....plus adding Ladji Dembele and Pryce Sandford wouldn't be a bad thing either, make it happen...Oh, keep Josh Dix as the fifth player on the floor. The most exciting thing about watching Iowa basketball this year.
Ok, Ok, Ben Krikke is a good add to this years team, but after 13 years of complaining about Fran not taking defense seriously, he brings in a player that works hard but athletically doesn't have the tools to play lock down defense and as an undersized center he also can't jump more then 2 inches. Not a great recipe to add to a already suspect defense against better Big Ten teams.
