A good showing in the B1G Tournament keeps that #6 seed and might just get a #5 seed.

Even better yet USC moved up to a #1 seed. We have a win against them. If that holds, it gives us a better path to a #5 seed and if we take the BBT #4. One key to gaining those higher seeds is another win against #1 seed UCLA in the BBT coz UCLA would probably remain a #1 if we beat them. Two wins against #1 seeds is going to look pretty sweet on the resume. If we beat USC again, it would probably drop them back the #2 seed again. Either one of them will probably gets us a higher seed. It's a matter of how high.

So there's 2 levels to gain here yet:
1) Beat UCLA or USC no matter what round we play them
2) Winning the BTT gets the next level up

The key is to hold that #6 with possibility to gain one or two more spots yet.

However, ISU is somehow hanging on to an 11 seed and a team no one should want to see in NCAA. You get the wrong refs and Adi scores 40 and your whole team fouls out.

Iowa would again run Audi ragged. It is an excellent match up for Iowa in a hypothetical rematch

It's amazing that we only lost by 10 points to Tennessee (78-68).

Iowa had 30 turnovers (Tennessee had 18 steals).

Iowa outrebounded them 48-33.

I don't know how the ESPN guy justifies it. I do know that he does bracketology (and covers WBB) for a living, though.

There are lots of people who do things for a living even though they are not good at those things.
