I have this fantasy where we start talking at Fry Fest. We exchange a few pleasantries. He asks what I do. I say I loved him in January 2020. He laughs. I get my drink. "Well, see ya," I say and walk away. I've got his attention now. How many guys voluntarily leave a conversation with Luka Garza? He touches his neck as he watches me leave. Later, as the night's dragged on and the coterie of gorgeous narcissists grows increasingly loose, he finds me on the balcony, my bowtie undone, smoking a cigarette. "Got a spare?" he asks. "What's in it for me?" I say as I hand him one of my little white ladies. he smiles. "Conversation with me, duh." I laugh. "What's so funny?" he protests. "Nothing, nothing... It's just... don't you grow tired of the fame?" "You get used to it," he says, lighting his cigarette and handing me back the lighter. "What would you do if you weren't an elbow magnet basketball player?" I ask. "Teaching, I think." "And if I was your student, what would I be learning?" "Discipline," he says quickly, looking up into my eyes, before changing the subject. "Where are you from?" "Bermuda," I say. "Oh wow. That's lovely." "It's ok," I admit. "Not everything is to my liking." "What could possibly be not to your liking in Bermuda?" he inquires. "I don't like sand," I tell him. "It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."

My only question for you is, "how tall are you if he looks up into your eyes" ?

Isu was down 29 with 4 min left. But yes they beat themselves by 30 and were just 4 minutes from a win.

Gotta give Jack Nunge credit for a well played half. The first few minutes were typical Jack but he's picked it up and played well. Still plays weak but he is producing and that is ultimately what counts.

He’s played in 9 games in 3 years. What does “typical Jack” mean? Not only did he do well, but his performance with Luka on the bench was absolutely critical in the first half. And he’s played well in 2/3 games this year, nearly to the point where I would say that tonight and Western Illinois were “typical Jack” until proven otherwise. Needs to clean up the TO’s though. Not a guy who should be going behind the back while driving down the lane

I think much of the disdain for ISU stems from just how stupid their fan base is. They should just accept their place as lil bro and be happy with beating UNI or Drake from time to time.

Pollard should just cash those subsidy checks from the U of I and smile.
