The group on the floor the last 2-3 minutes or so was a momentum killer.
My only problem with Rebraca is that he never looks to take a 3 and isn’t close to being guarded out there .
Both FT misses were Kris'. Need to hit those, man.

I'm guessing he isn't shooting because he's scared. And besides, a non-confident shooter is usually an unreliable one.
Scored on 11-12 straight possessions. Didn’t finish the half well but up 6 on the road. I suppose Illinois isn’t thrilled about giving up 12 or 13 in a row either! 40 minute game and we played 20 good minutes! 3 team turnovers. Keegan has 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Not bad. Agree that Kofi travels damn near every time he makes a move with the ball.
Cockburn seldom has the ball in his hands WITHOUT traveling. Been that way his whole career. He travels constantly, twice on one possession tonight, and NEVER gets called for it. Between his traveling and bulling over defenders, which is an offensive foul every damn time but also is NEVER called, what the hell good is he?
If Kofi had to play by the rules of basketball, he'd have to take up rugby or return to cricket. He's an abomination on the basketball floor, and in case you can't tell, I hate it because it's pure bullshit. And the announcers think it's cute to call him the "human sledgehammer." The thing is, sledgehammers are not legal in basketball games.

When Sandfort gets his feet under him he's a lights out shooter, it's when he's off balance that he not good.
I'd rather bring in Ash and let him jack a 3 than Rebraca....Rebraca not a shooter. The fact that he doesn't need to be guarded at 3p line is why Kris is better option as long as Kris is not in foul trouble.
That’s interesting though because he shot 36.6% last year on 1.6 attempts per game.
His overall shot percentage is less than Connor McCaffrey's. Just saying.

Again, as with the women's game, keep putting yourselves in position to help on defense to stop the drive. Yes, they're gonna look for the kick out, but if you help at the right time with the right guy, you can easily recover/switch and not always give up an open corner 3 or off a few quick reversals.

I think he rushes the shot sometimes without getting his feet squared. As fast as his release is, sometimes it’s too fast.
Perkins played really well in the first half as well. Some much needed scoring in JBo's absence.
I agree but it was the same with Connor until he hit a few. I’m not advocating he start launching 3’s but at least show its in your arsenal once in awhile. That’s when Garza’s game took off when he showed he was capable of shooting 3’s … well something to work on for next year I suppose
Yep.
When he takes just ok shots, not even good ones he usually makes a good clip.
It's when he rushes up a shot in 1/10th of a second with his feet still moving he starts missing.
