Right now, the struggle is figuring out how to make forward progress against the middle line of the ISU defense.
They're just sitting in what's essentially a 3-5-3 mix and the middle 5 are reading the play and trusting that they can close fast enough to make plays.
It works for shutting down plays on the edge and unless the OL just blows you off the ball, allows for them to collapse on middle runs for short gains, especially if they sniff out run early.
The weakness is if you get OL free to the second level with a gap for the RB.
You can gouge them in the run and force them to have to tighten up in the middle which will then open the edges and potential plays downfield.
