There's part of the new Lester offense.

Pulling the TE in motion and then using him to crash down as a surprise blocker on that pitch out.

To expand on that, the difference is Iowa would traditionally shift the TE in motion to get a read on the coverage and then come set.

By snapping the ball with the H-back/TE in motion, you have to account for him still as a blocker AND potentially a receiver, but you don't know necessarily where he's gonna be going until AFTER the ball is snapped.

That's where the "tricking their eyes" part comes in.
