Well it was worst in the country last year I believe. Playing against a defense with their top 3 linebackers out and they still can't run against it.

Red zone offense still sucks but I'm not giving up on them yet. Hopefully Lester can get them playing better as the year moves along.
We need to figure out some short to go plays that work.

Anything inside the 10, bring in Lainez so the threat of the QB is at least still there.
Cade has zero desire to take off and get closer to the endzone, let alone score.
That doesn't mean I want a switch at all. Just that if we're gonna struggle this much to run the ball inside the 10, we have to have the threat of the QB run as well. And that's not Cade........

Get down there by running the ball and then go to pass. Iowa State defense didnt do anything. Iowa offense play calling did them a favor.
Are we afraid to do a QB sneak? When you know the snap count, you should be able to fire off more quickly and get ONE damn yard.

At least we took a timeout there to conserve some clock for the opponent. Absolute terrible clock management and play calling from the 2 yard line..
