I think they might actually pull him here after that drive. Guy just can’t throw the ball on target, laughable they ran that fade. Was not a bad ball, but wasn’t good either. I’m not sure Lachey even had a chance to come down in bounds with it even if he got both hands up. The out on 3rd was hilarious. It’s obvious he is terrified of making a critical mistake so he puts the ball in a spot where nobody can get it without miracle.

How can an OC/qb coach not lose their shit coaching for KF. This is ridiculous! You have a seasoned and experienced Big Ten QB sitting on the bench right now. Our current qb can’t hit guys wide open.
Also piss poor blocking today. Lots of "they're there, and then they're not" slide by misses/whiffs on blocking up front.
I guess the coaches will bench him when the games out of hand. Makes sense.
He consistent in not hitting receivers.
If a running back kept falling down at the line of scrimmage with no one hitting him, he would get benched. Its effectively the same thing as a QB missing wide open receivers time and time again.

Cade is at best a game manager at this point, but if he can’t even make the makeables then why is he in there?

For whatever reason for now anyways, the OL protects Cade better.
Hill would just sit back there and literally wait for someone to hit him before he decides to move, and by then the ball is getting knocked out.
Cade hasn't really had that problem yet save for the OL getting embarrassed by Ohio State.

1. MSU sells out for the run and we go Brian Ferentz and run KJ up the gut repeatedly for minimal yardage.
2. Chiles burns us with big plays.
3. McNamara can’t hit the broad side of a barn.
4. We give them momentum and confidence by starting slow.
Pretty much a worst case scenario except we’re damn lucky it isn’t 21-0.
Sullivan MUST be given a chance. The O can’t get any worse under McNamara.

It’s terribly sad that I’m considering at least flipping to a multi view to see UGA Texas. Man it wasn’t that long ago I wouldn’t miss an Iowa game for anything. This is just bad football to watch.
The game has become a live and die by a good QB. We will continue to be, at best, below average until we find a good QB.
Slow on defense. Soft as shit on both sides of the ball. A qb that can’t hit the broad side of a barn. I’m about out on this game.
Then the coaching staff failed if Cade is the best QB on the roster. No other way to say it.
