*****Iowa vs Ohio St Game Thread*****

Consodine and Sash were better than average athletes. I think we would have a better defense if Schulte hadn't taken his Covid year.
For sure they were. But there's been plenty who weren't as well. Some worked out fine, others get exposed against the top teams.

again, it is VERY CLEAR that the OSU back ups are in

and the TV guy just brought it up, too

so, Sullivan is not suddenly our savior

Lester inherited a mess

And yet….that’s still better than what Cade would have done.

Most that transferred haven’t done much if anything at their new home. No Iowa coach can evaluate qb’s.
I agree but they know they will never see the field unless a major injury occurs regardless of how the starter plays.

I have been done with him for a few years. He opened the door in 2009 taking a knee here in Columbus. @markfromj I say this as a fan who was probably the very last one off the Lickliter bandwagon. I’m sick of Kirk and can’t wait until he leaves.
25 yrs of Kirk ball is enough. I'd rather lose going for it than being a pussy. Can't get a QB t ok save his life. He apparently doesn't understand it's all about the QB.

I’ve neem Schulte is a liability for a long time. He is not athletic. How do you continue to get burned over the top and miss tackle after tackle?
practice tryhard

seems to work out okay for the D as they work within a more defined system, but there will always necessarily be a weak link

Anyone else remember the game here where it was 56-7 at half - our TD was only because of a blown call by the ref - and it ended 56-35? I love Columbus.
